Lovely clean toilets and tasty food @ Greggs bus to Ayr was nice and warm and on time

Not too busy when I was there. Bus station is very clean. There is a nice big indicator board but bus bays can be a bit confusing.

Often busy and there are periods when nothing is there . It's a small rank room for only a few taxis which at peak times makes availability an issue . It is also used by cars dropping people off. So can be a busy and hectic small rank .

Clean & tidy well organised with good security. Greggs do a lovely bacon rool - not to be missed, but get there b4 eleven am - thats when they stop doing them.

Concourse closes between 23:00 - 06:00 every day and no WC access during that.This is hard for passengers who has to wait longer time.Taxis available all the time.Be prepared for Cold breeze.

Much bigger than the Edinburgh station, really easy to find your way and with many more destinations. When booking in advance it can be really cheap. The station is located right next to the city centre, a small walk. Enjoyed my experience there...

Directions not that amazing on the screen as to where the bus is coming in. Had to discuss with the guy walking around just to figure out where to go.

Near to city centre and with loads of facilities has students houses too. You have tesco, sansburry , cineworld and pavilion theatre bear by. One can watch movie and taste a sip of wine in l'auberge restaurant and bar, there are many stand up comedy clubs to remove your stress on weekends especially for IT employees. Best place for enjoying your weekend sourounded by many restaurants.pubs supermarkets and offices around. One can take selfies behind tall buildings. Moreover even bus facility is also available all around the city , subway rail is also just 5 minutes walk. Indian, italian, chinese, mexican, thai restaurants around. You can munch a wing in KFC too as its near by. A single stop destination for western and asian citizens to travel, to watch movies many more you could do.

I have traveld all of Europe and never seen such a poor sigange for bus arrivals (infact none at all) this is tricky as the isle of skye bus, where my child is on for 6+ hours is often late.As there is just a drop off area I can't even go and check and return... That makes it very tricky.He is autistic and loves the bus but has no idea of where he is and what that means for his arrival. Asking the driver (which takes a lot of him to do) is often met with a grumpy groan to go and sit down.The bus does not seem to be logged at the various stations... This reminds me of India not Europe.The information desk has only ever been manned once when I needed something.This might be coincidence but she I asked after 15min post arrival time if there is any word... No information could have been gotten beside that it arrives somewhere in the row behind the desk...Also being foreign and with a person behind information with a strong Scottish accent... This is not easy travelling and a bad impression to say the least.On a positive noteIt's great to get through our beautiful country by bus for a reasonable fair.Thank you for that and I take it it's heavily subsidised by the tax money paid.An arrivals board is a basic requirement for any transport hub!!!An interactive live arrivals and departures is pretty standard.
