Bhandal Dental Practice

Sent here for a referral to have a tooth extraction.Absolutely amazed at how my experience was here !I’d just about finished checking in at reception and signed a form and I was already called in ahead of my appointment time. All the nurses were lovely and I had Dr Amrik S Bhandal do the extraction. What a lovely , calm and friendly gentleman. I was in and out within 5 mins with no pain and couldn’t believe my tooth was out that quick, very informative about after care ! I’ve never had such a brilliant experience with an extraction and I couldn’t be more happier I’d come here for it. If I ever need work doing again like this I will 100% come back here.Thankyou so much Bhandals and Thankyou Dr Amrik S Bhandal !!!

We got an appointment for my child with a dentist" who was only qualified to do an x-ray. He then advised me to book another appointment with another dentist. The receptionist booked us with the same "dentist" who again only did the x-ray and we had to book another appointment. We finally got an appointment with a dentist who was able to do the treatment but he only had time to take the tooth out

After years of not going to the dentist because of being so scared and ashamed of my teeth, i couldn't take no more pain so I registered with this dentist, i wish id done it years ago. I seen Dr Colleen and she is amazing, she removed my infected tooth so quickly without any fuss from me as she had me feeling calm, the lovely dental nurse held my hand as they know I'm scared. The reception staff are lovely as well. Thank you so much to all of you and I look forward to future appointments with you, you have helped me not be as scared. I highly recommend

I went to this dentist nervous, had nearly cancelled lots of times. I was literally shaking so bad.All was explained to me fully and although I was petrified the process was done quickly and efficiently. I almost ran out of surgery, but can’t fault dentist and staff in any way. They were professional, patient and got results.Am sure I was a most awful patient.Thank you. Sincerely

After not being able to get an emergency appointment local to me, I managed to get in with Bhandals thanks to the help from the friendly receptionists. Friendly and pain free tooth extraction now 2 and half hour drive home with no tooth ache.Thank You

Very professional, very caring. I had quite a few appointments spanning 6 months for a dental implant and all the time I received excellent care, with each stage being explained. I have already recommended this practice to a couple of people.

I was referred to this dentist practice as I needed a difficult extraction. I'd been here prior and was really hoping that I'd have the same dentist as before. I was taken to the 1st room on the right on the lower floor. I was delighted to see it was indeed the same dentist. He was so very kind, gentle and put me at ease letting me know what he was going to do, and ensured I was alright to carry on.I was in no pain or discomfort. Was done very quickly, and gently. I can honestly say after this, if I needed any more extractions I'd not be worried one bit.I did ask if he was allowed to bey dentist. But he did only referrals. However I'm not as nervous to go back to my dentist if this is how I'm treated.I can't thank the gentleman enough, and his very kind assistant ( sorry I don't know the proper title). I left with instructions and was told to come back if I had any problems. Nearly a month later, I'm all healed and am able to eat and chew with no pain whatsoever.If you were hesitant like me. If he's your dentist, you're in very kind and competent hands.Thankyou so much.

Absolutely shocking experience from this practice. The dentist that saw my son on Friday 20th October needs to go back to dental school.He has no manners never even introduced himself. Just fobbed off my son with more antibiotics for his painful wisdom teeth. That's his fourth course in a couple of months.He told him he would have to grin and bear the pain. Or look up NICE the guild lines for getting his wisdom teeth removed in a hospital.Well we were referred to Bhandal dental practice from Longfellow Dental Practice for this procedure.Totally unacceptable behaviour from someone in a so called caring profession.We have now gone private as no one should suffer in excruciating pain for months and be told it will only get worse! What a way to talk to a young person suffering from chronic pain.We did make a complaint but it was just ignored!I would avoid Bhandal dental practice they are a disgrace to the dental profession.

1 star because they offered an appointment at the time convenient to me. No more than one because the dentist did the check up after 2 years of me not being able to see them (all together I was with them 6 years and they unnecessarily removed one of my teeth and treated only one claiming there was no other teeth needing treatment).This time round the dentist gave me no feedback about the teeth that needed doing - he paid attention only to a tooth that I pointed out to him that was painful. He took X-ray and asked ‘did it hurt you only one day?’ to my answer ‘yes’ he said: ‘we can do a root canal, or we can remove it or we can leave it as it is if it doesn’t hurt you any more’. ‘What would you like us to do?’. They just applied a gritty material on all my teeth (it lasted 5minutes max) and claimed they descaled my teeth and then they said I am free to go.I was gob smacked with this attitude, so I replied ‘I think I’ll leave the tooth as it is’ and I had it treated elsewhere - they descaled my teeth beautifully and also there was no need for the root canal at this point apparently put in a new filling and it’s all fine now. Apart from this one I had 6 more to treat which I was very unhappy about considering 3 different Bhandal Practice dentists claimed I had none to do. I’m very puzzled re the way I was treated. I must find out the name of the dentist that treated me to avoid him like a wild fire. I’m planning on changing the dentist permanently.
