The Dressmaker Fabrics

I ordered from the lovely Kim on Sunday evening and received my fabric on Tuesday morning. Fantastic customer service and communication. Great quality fabric and colour was exactly like the picture online.

I went to go in but noticed there were people inside the shop not wearing masks. I was really put off. Some staff were wearing masks and visors which is reassuring but there were customers not wearing one. This shop has been great before but I have been put off going in now because of this.

Beautiful fabrics and wonderful owners and staff. This shop has everything you could need for the best dressmaking as well as knitting

I’ve just received my first order from the lovely Kim, the fabrics were exactly the quality and colour match that I was hoping for! The service was very fast despite the long Bank-holiday and wrapped well with a personalised hand written note inside. Top customer service. Top quality fabrics. I will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely selection of fabrics of all different kinds, and great, easy for beginners patterns for sale. Lots of other craft stuff and very friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely fantastic fabrics! The whole shop is under new ownership and has had a total refurbish ! I can spend hours here just looking at all the new beautiful things they sell! So many lovely fabrics, patterns and just about everything a crafter could desire! Make sure you have enough time when you go in, just to browse this huge treasure chest from buttons, beautiful wools, trimmings, fabrics,cross stitch etc etc! Staff are lovely and very helpful, answering all the crazy questions i ask when starting a new project! Even my 11 year old Granddaughter loves coming in here with me and has even helped me make her dresses with the animal fabrics! Highly recommend a visit, you wont be disappointed! I cannot praise this shop enough, I just love it in there!

The shop is under new management (thank god!) and what an improvement they have made. Huge range of fabrics, fantastic prices, modern and, most importantly, staff are friendly, helpful, kind and happy. Previously avoided this shop after being treated so poorly by the old owners so when I saw it was under new management I was excited to give the shop another go... I am pleased I did! What a wonderful experience and exactly how it should be.I personally find that, due to the lack of fabric shops, some can give the impression that they do not need to bother with customer service because there's nowhere else to go" (which is what it felt like in the shop with the previous owners and staff who were downright rude). I am happy to say that this is NOT the case with this fabric shop now it is under a new ownership.Highly recommend this fabric shop."

Absolutely love this store! Friendly staff who are so helpful as well. Prices are great and it is well worth a visit! Be prepared to spend ages staring at all their lovely products! :)
