I recently had to refurbish my Old Charm bookcases. I needed 4 ballbearing catches for the doors. I emailed Wood Bros and Lisa attended to my needs. She ensured that I was sent the required catches and I received them two days later. There was no charge!I would consider that to be sterling service from a Company that cares for their products as well as their customers. And Lisa could not have been more efficient, pleasant, and helpful. If I was a Managing Director of Wood Bros I'd be certain to keep her on a permanent contract!I'll be singing the praises of Wood Bros and Old Charm to all my family and friends. When a Company behaves like this, they need unstinting praise. If I can find more room in my home I'll be buying more Old Charm furniture!Norman S Wilson

Good place

Very high quality products and an excellent service. I ordered several cabinets and a large Old Charm sofa suite (7 pieces) to be made. They arrived within good time, given the impacts of the Covid pandemic, and all the furniture was extremely well made. Unfortunately one sofa was slightly damaged during delivery (a small tear on one arm) and Wood Bros immediately dispatched an engineer to examine it and then made a completely new and matching replacement sofa, with no quibbles. That has now arrived in good order. I am very impressed with their service as well as their products and would gladly recommend them to others.

A firm believer in ‘say what you mean, and mean what you say’ I’m very disappointed with the lack of integrity displayed by Wood Bros!Expressing concerns about the small material sample sent, I was I was advised that, if I order the fabric and it was not suitable, it could be returned. Finding the fabric sent too thin and unravelling easily, I called to arrange a return but this was refused - I was advised that I could not return the fabric ‘as it has been cut to order’! All I can say is I’m glad I didn’t spend hundreds or thousands on furniture with potential for extensive losses faced with the same lack of integrity.With previous reviews dated around a year ago I con only assume this ‘small family business’ has had a high of turnover of staff or is struggling financially given the stance adopted!
