Blazing Fires

If you are looking to replace your fireplace and want a really good service and excellent products, then I recommend that you use Blazing Fires. We have just had a new marble fireplace installed and it has transformed our living room. The owner of Blazing Fires, Greg, was so helpful when we were choosing our new surround and fire, and his fitter, Darren, completed the work within a day. This included removing our old brickwork fireplace, re-plastering our chimney breast, and installing the new model. He and his helper, Terry, kept the disruption and dust down to a minimum and they were a joy to have in the house. The finished product is superb.

Hole-in-wall gas fire purchased and fitted by Blazing Fires - cannot fault the product or service. Fitting was minimal fuss, very fast and to an excellent standard. We have had the fire on every day instead of the heating over the last 2 weeks and it also gives a modern focal point to the room. Very pleased.

Selecting a fireplace was one of the final touches to a total renovation I was undertaking and having spent a lot of money I was tempted to go with the large homeware company fireplaces. I was so glad I didn't - not only are there so many hidden extras with such shops that price really isn't a factor any more (trim/surrounds/installation and more) the quality and service you get at Blazing Fires isn't comparable and means you will be far happier in the long run. The shop in Eltham has all different styles for you to browse and Greg is happy to spend time with you and discuss your needs, the installation team were brilliant and did a great job. We have just bought the most lovely fireplace, mantle and surround from Blazing Fires. We returned many times before deciding. Then the fireplace we liked needed to be 2 inches smaller than the standard size. The owner spoke to the manufactures in Portugal and organized a custom made mantle piece and surround for us. We have been impressed by the individualized service, the owner's knowledge, and the communication while it was being sorted out. The fitting service was organized for us too and that went very smoothly. I have been delighted with the service and how the fireplace looks.

We have recently purchased a beautiful fireplace form Greg at Blazing Fires in Eltham. Our first call to competitors brought a dread of the whole project. All were unhelpful and we gained the impression that our project was too much for them. We needed the old fireplace completely removed; a new fireplace installed; a new “real flame” gas fire installed and the chimney post modified. We called Blazing Fires and spoke to Greg. He was so helpful and ready to discuss, we went to the shop immediately. The shop in Eltham is full of fireplaces and many of the demonstrations work. Within 30 minutes we had agreed to purchase our new fire and Greg gave us a written quote for the complete job. Greg was very knowledgable, approachable and helpful. We had been looking for the right fire for a few months with no success.
