Absolutely recommend Memories, a caring and professional family run business. Our brother lived in Wales and passed away suddenly. From our first call to Memories, Helen, Dave and Simon took care of everything. He was brought home to Stockport and looked after by these lovely people.Their support was amazing and the personal and special touches they added like the Man Utd themed order of service, flowers and funeral service itself were just wonderful. I cannot recommend Memories Funeral service enough. Simon and Helen went above and beyond for our family. The care and attention given not only to Ian but to our family also. Their support to us personally meant so much and this will be something that will stay with us always. The respect given to us when visiting Ian at the chapel was both reassuring and comforting. Helen helped my mum and sister during the visit and also the service, this was very much appreciated. Cathy Gordon, the celebrant, put us very much at ease and reflected Ian's life perfectly. My family and I are truly grateful for the kindly manner in which my brother's funeral was conducted. Helen suggested a biker's funeral which was really apt for my brother, who was an avid TT races attender. Helen kept in regular contact and every member of the team treated us with the utmost dignity. Every detail was carefully planned and, despite the untimeliness of John's death, we were able to give him the send-off that he deserved, including a webcast that was available to our family all over the world. Don't bother looking at other Funeral Service providers; Memories is the best and it is also affordable and deserves its 5 star reputation.

We received an extremely professional service from Simon, he exceeded our expectations. He was kind and knowledgable and arranged absolutely everything for us. All was to the highest standard, dignified and of first class quality. He made several practical suggestions which we had not considered and which worked extremely well. He connected us with Cate Berry, the Celebrant, who was so kind to us and conducted a dignified and comforting service and eulogy. The day went smoothly thanks to Simon and Cate and was everything my sister deserved.

The terrible lose of our mum was made bearable by memories,from the first informal chat with Simon and next day at the funeral home meeting Helen nothing was to much trouble the genuine empathy made our decision to go with them easy.The day of the funeral the team were so respectful and Beau our driver was so caring , we have only to say what a professional and caring experience. Memories funeral service have been fantastic in organising my sisters funeral and helping my sisters family with the planning.
