Arrived early 12.15 started filling up quickly would recommend booking in advance, when I asked what's the pies like the bartender replied best pies in the world" now a pretty bold statement I must admit it was absolutely amazing really enjoyed it probably best pub food you can get. Also had the chicken strips they was very tasty tasted homemade pretty sure everything on menu is. Really nice atmosphere and layout scenery inside an out beautiful so lucky to be close by will be coming back here... ALOT! Thank you"

The Bay Horse
We've been a couple of times for a meal and the food was excellent as was the service. I decided to book for a family Sunday lunch recently and we couldn't have been happier. Everything cooked to perfection and plenty of it too. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy a meal and drink locally.A big thank you to all at The Bay Horse for all you do.

Had a lovely christmas lunch this week. Everything was cooked lovely and served piping hot. Nothing too much trouble. Been several times and never been disappointed.

Lovely quiet homely atmosphere and all food home made!I have a potato allergy and they were so accommodating ensuring nothing was contaminated. Been a few times and will be returning again.

Went for a family dinner and it was amazing. Food was all homemade and definitely better than average. The drinks were also great. Had asked for a gin and tonic to find they had 14 different gins available and a great selection of tonic waters. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely old pub with beautiful views. Staff were lovely. I had fish and chips which I couldn't eat. It was completely saturated with crease. Chips were almost black and soggy. My family had the pie which they said was lovely. No problem, I wasn't charged for fish and chips. Such a shame as dessert was lovely. Cooking fish is an art. Nice crispy batter and golden chips but not in this case.

Just been for a lovely meal with the family to celebrate my wife's birthday. Not been for a long time but was greatly impressed with what we had. We ordered our drinks first and then sat down to choose from the menu, the days specials board was also presented. We ordered 2 pies, 2 hunters chicken and a chicken curry. Everything arrived piping hot, tasted beautiful and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Hats off to the landlord as he was run off his feet with staff shortages and holiday cover but the staff that were there, did a grand Job. Only 3 of us managed a pudding which was 2 sticky toffee pudding with custard and a cheesecake with cream. Very well presented and tasted delicious , just as the main meals did. ,Plenty of craft beer, lager & wine to choose from with friendly staff to see to your needs. A nice big car park with outside seating and plenty of more seats at the far end of the car park. Well worth a visit, will definitely call again.

Gorgeous little village pub, pays to book to be on the safe side as its very popular but we were early so there was plenty of room for us. Been here a couple of times now and have never been disappointed with the food. Everything is homemade including the desserts. This time both my parter and I had the steak pie with veg and chips. The pie is always full of filling and the pastry is lovely, with a jug of gravy on the side.The staff are lovely and told us about their takeaway cheesecakes when we said how full we were. Would be rude not to so we took a slice of rocky road cheesecake home and wow! Just as amazing as the meals.Definitely one of our favourite local places to eat.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Parking nightmare as limited.Staff polite and atmosphere good.Food , Mt husband enjoyed his but I wasn't as keen.We both had Sunday lunch.I also had cheesecake which wasn't nice or set.Overall for the price we have enjoyed better but I suppose made a change.I wouldn't be in rush to go back thoe.
