The Beresford Building

Great example of art deco.

My visit to the Beresford was brief for a quick photo of its Glasglow enriching view.

Back in the day, when Sauchiehall Street was still a great place to do some shopping or eat at a restaurant, I used to see this building when it was used as student accommodations for University of Strathclyde. At which point the building was named Baird Hall and named after John Logie Baird, the great Scottish inventor. Himself an alumni of the university.The architecture of the building is about as stereotypical of Art Deco design as you can get with it's brutally straight lines from top to bottom. Worth a look if you're in the area.
