Never had a dull lesson with Mike! I'd had a few instructors before and neither compared to how well I was taught from him. Flexible with lesson times and if my schedule was off at any point he never failed to make time to fit me in somewhere in the week. Filled me with confidence for test day and made everything as easy as possible - would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the area wanting to drive. Great guy to be around and a great instructor!

Had the pleasure of Mike Hinton driving school in the last 3 months learning me to drive , Mike will put you at ease help you grow inn confidence and when your test ready mike won't delay it anything more than putting you inn for your test. It's been an absolute pleasure to sit next to mike whilst his vast knowledge and experience will give you confidence to be the best driver he can make you , and for those nervous drivers mike doesn't shout , get angry hes very good at making you feel comfortable. the best driving instructor. passed my test first time today. i started my lessons a very anxious person with a very nervous mindset but mike has helped to make me feel a lot more confident and i enjoy driving so much. mike is great for everyone, and if you suffer with anxiety like i do then he’s going to have the best approach and really make you feel like you’ve got this!!

After many lessons with different driving instructors, coming across Mike was the best thing that could have happened. He calmed my nerves, built my confidence, and gave me the courage when I needed it the most. Amazing style of teaching and such a calm and patient person. Best instructor ever! Very flexible and never struggled to fit me in when I needed him the most. Wouldn't ever recommend anybody else.Thank you Mike!

I met Mike last year having failed with another instructor, he was soo patient with me with my anxiety and he never let me believe that I could not do it. He was so supportive throughout my fail and we got back to it and this resulted in a pass which is all down to him and his teaching. I always felt like I was too old to learn, but he pushed me through that feeling and supported me. He is great if you have anxiety issues and I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

Mike is a fantastic driving instructor and tailors his tuition according to each learner. He is super patient and reliable and resulted in a first time pass.

Where do I start! FANTASTIC TEACHERI first met Mike and I was the most nervous woman on the planet. Mike was extremely patient and straight forward with me. He didn't pressure me, he let me process information in my own time. Allowed me to practise techniques in my own time. He was very bubbly and kind towards myself. Making the whole experience enjoyable.He never raised his voice, he didn't tell me off. He spoke to me in a positive manner that was easy to comprehend. He has a very positive aura and pushed me to do my absolute best as safe as possible.He made himself available for me as I have a child and couldn't work around him all the time, we made it work.With a 3 attempts at my driving test (A case of my confidence not being strong and anxiety of driving under pressure of exam) eventually I was relaxed enough to complete my test thanks to Mike. He was very very supportive of my fails, and didn't give up. I listened to him and he listened to me. He went above and beyond.I walk away from this experience having met one of the best teachers I've ever had in my life. I walk away with more confidence and knowledge than I went in with AND a full driving license! He has the best and simple term methods that are easy to understand.Thankyou very much Mike for everything. Truly appreciated all your efforts and professionalism.Worth every penny!Highly recommend!
