Upon arriving the place smelt fusty and damp but thought I'd give it ago.The bottom of the chair legs were rusty like they had constantly been wet or in water.I had knelt down on the grass bit where the ice cream van is and when I stood back up my knee was wet through. Then I noticed that my little boys feet were absolutely wet through as the grass had lots of wet patches. We had only been there 40 minutes but I had to take him home because of his wet feet. His socks were also absolutely loppy from the floor. When leaving I told the woman behind the counter about all the wet patches on the grass bit and she was not bothered at all just asked if someone had done a wee. It was the the roof had been leaking. Will not go again terrible customer service and not as clean as you think

Love the place but terrible customer service today! Been reoccurring customers forever but today didn't even purchase drinks for the experience by the staff. We made a group booking for 3 families. So 2 children and 1 adult for each family. They charged us extra adults simply because we paid as one transaction!Had we booked separately for each adult and children the adult would have been free!!We got penalised for making one booking. She kept mentioning lack of space for adults but the entire area for adults was empty apart from 3 other peopleInstead of thinking how much bussiness they were making out of all these families and giving us good customer service she ruined our entire experience of being there. Decided not to use this place again or purchase anything to eat or drink. As a manager it should be of utmost importance of what experience your creating for your customers but this was not the case at all! Shame.Really used to enjoy this place! This is how you lose customers when you can't see the bigger picture.

Whenever I ask my daughter where her favourite place to go is, it's always Curious Kids Town. She loves the role playing nature of the toys and never wants to leave. The staff are friendly and lovely too and always a pleasure to see. They also do the best Christmas events with Santa and Mrs Claus, thank you again for another memorable year.

Took my 2 year old here for the first time today and she absolutely loved it. She did not want to leave. I have a 10 week old baby too and the entire building is small enough that I can sit and feed my baby if needs be and still be able to watch over my 2 year old whilst she plays. I personally think this place is decently priced for what it is, especially considering my daughter is only 2 years old and absolutely loves role play so it is very worth it for us. Will be 100% returning again very soon

Brilliant place for children of all ages. We loved our visit today, reasonably priced entry and coffee there. So many learning opportunities in a fun environment!

We visited for the first time today, my little girl had the best time. She loved pretending to be each of the various shop assistants, vets, nurses, fireman. Fun had all round. Would most definitely visit again. Thank you

Lovely play area for young kids and us Adults who are young at heart. Plenty of outfits for the kids to dress up. Highly recommended. So what if it smells of damp, it's an indistriaindustrial unit, probably hard to heat in the winter

This is a great place to take young children for over an hour. The sessions are timed well, the food and drink is fine, staff are friendly and the maintenance is good. Light and airy. Others have mentioned black mould and overpriced coffee which I wouldn't agree with. However there are quite a few cobwebs which could be cleared in 5 minutes so slightly disappointed to see this. Other than that though, would happily go again.

This is a fab place for kids. I went today with my 4 and 6 year old boys and they loved it. We had been to a soft play near by before coming here and they said they preferred it here than the massive soft play at centertainment. It certainly gets their imagination flowing as they role play in adult occupations alongside other children who they do not know.It is really well thought out and the owner has paid attention to detail to make the experience as realistic as possible for the children. We have a similar thing to this near where we live in Doncaster but I wanted to try this to compare. There are pros and cons to both but this one pips the other at the post because of the attention to detail. My boys think so too.It has free parking too, albeit tight.I would have rated this 5 stars if a few things had been different. I think that first of all it should be a 2 hour session for a) the price paid and b) the kids are just seeing in with their stranger peers and playing together when it's time to go. It's like speed dating/playing for kids.I also think that the cafe prices should be less. Its the age old adage of stack them high and sell them cheap. Cans of Pepsi £2 and the coffee is Starbucks prices for a non barista style coffee.I also think some music playing low would create a better ambience or even a recording of noises you hear on a high street to make it authentic. It was a little quiet at times..So overall, a nice place that the kids loved, but it could be better/5 stars with a little tweak here and there.
