Tried for the first time. Nice place and very prompt service. Ordered two full English breakfasts and food was delivered promptly which was appreciated as we only had a short amount of time to visit due to commitments.Breakfast was disappointing with over-cooked fried eggs. It appears the quality of the food was rather low, cheap even dare I say it and this came through in the taste.If I’m paying £20 for two breakfasts I’d expect a quality offering that is cooked perfectly as a minimum requirement. Had it been a significantly cheaper offering for the quality delivered then it would be perhaps more reasonable.Still on the look out for a quality breakfast in the area.

Entered here in a wheel chair through very difficult entrance doors. Found a suitable table to sit at for 25 mins and after asking only to be told No table service" . No clue on the menu

Just had a lovely afternoon tea here for a mini hen do. They decorated the table which was a lovely touch. The food was amazing as always and the staff were very attentive. Thanks again.

My wife and I often visit here for lunch, or meetings, and always find the service, food and drinks to be excellent. It's a special building to us that Finkins is positioned within, its where we met one night in July 2010, and a place we know we will always be very warmly welcomed by the attentive staff.

Nipped in for a quick cup of tea, ended up having soup and then a roast pork Sunday dinner! Everything was home made and made to perfection! I took a picture of my soup and the sausage roll but when the Sunday roast came I dove in and there was no time for pictures! Also it’s licensed so we had a pint instead of a cup of tea! All this plus it’s dog friendly!! Very warm welcoming service and food! I’ll be coming again, we didn’t book but it was busy! Book ahead toAvoid disappointment I’d say.

Fabulous lunch, home made delicious and excellent value in clean comfy cafe bar. Great that they let dogs in and very friendly staff.
