Anna has been providing maths tuition to my 8 and 11 year old (years 3 and 7) daughters for several months now. I would be very happy to recommend her to other parents looking for a tutor with great emotional intelligence and a calm and patient manner as well as a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Both of my children have benefitted from consolidating school taught maths concepts on a one-to-one basis without the many usual distractions of the classroom . They have developed learning skills which can be applied to all areas of the curriculum. After one session, Anna was able to identify my daughter’s learning style (kinaesthetic), this knowledge will benefit her for the rest of her life. They look forward to their time with Anna and I have seen their confidence in their school-work grow as a result of their time together.

During lockdown and the subsequent school closures my son’s confidence hit rock bottom. Anna has been an absolute saviour with Henry in rebuilding his faith in his abilities and also to have trust in his work. Anna has really engaged with Henry and makes him feel valued and proud. She has taken the time to understand him as an individual and identify any areas that need focus without adding more pressure. Anna goes the extra mile by far.
