Smelly, dirty and abandoned by South West Trains. In urgent need of cleaning and decoration. Ticket office shut most of the time, even in the morning e.g. at 9.30 or 10.30, no idea why - just closed whenever felt like it seems by staff. Shocking state of affairs but no-one cares at Southern Rail - I know, I've asked. Every train I get is either cancelled or delayed. A complete shower.

Usually unmanned. You access the platforms via stairs. There is a bike ramp but I don't believe there is wheelchair access. Very dingy and I doubt that lone travelers would want to use the station when it is dark. It is however very handy if you want to avoid travelling all the way to bought station.

There is no real shelter when it is raining and there are no public facilities very basic and run down could do with some investment to bring the station to a decent standard

I'm sure somebody out there loves the strong smell of urine and the creepy feeling that at any point a horde of zombies will come running down the platform. Seriously though, I would always advise people to go the extra stop and get off at Bournemouth, the more buses run every couple of minutes.The lack of staff, security cameras and the abundance of unsavoury people make this stop worth missing.

Not great at all. This station needs lots done to it. It was very creepy indeed. Needs some lifts too. I struggled to get up the stairs.

Disgusting. Almost impossible for me to ascend the stairs with my heart & lung condition. Desperately needs the lift opened to the public. Needs staff at all hours during the day not just early mornings. Just needs... Attention. End of. Otherwise it stands no hope.

Ghost train Station, ticket machine, no toilets, no staff in sight, not a place I'd recommend for anyone to be waiting for a train on their own

It's been done up a bit, but it still feels a bit runned down. Train services are fairly frequent

I have travelled through many train stations but I have not gone through a train station such as this station here which is in a dire need of a paint job. The appearance from inside the station waiting for a train is an eye sore. It looks like its about to fall apart. It is not value for money considering train fares which goes up every year and the amount of money these train operators make of our backs, I can only call it day light robbery. Are these operators that broke as to not have the money to fix this place up?
