The team that work here and at their other branches are just amazing. The last two weeks have been awful for me, but they have been there at all times of the day and night caring for two of my cats.Sadly, we had to have one PTS as he was just too poorly. The overnight team allowed me to be there to say goodbye ;(.My second cat who has been in their care twice recently for pancreatitis is now coming home. The care they have given her is as if she were their own. Her most recent stay was an admission on Sunday evening and I am sure they will be sad to see her leave but know ultimately home is the right place for her.We are all living in different, challenging times at the moment, but the staff employed are in my opinion second to none and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

On holiday in the isle of wight, our spaniel injured himself on the beach. Later that night, it was clear he was in severe pain so we contacted pet doctors in Newport and they said to bring him in. We were Met by Lucie Pacen ( not sure of spelling) but it was wed 4th Oct, and she was amazing. We have had many dogs and never experienced such care from a vet, she was truly concerned, took time to ask questions, did a FULL examination, every inch of Reggie was scrutinised. Yes, I know we're paying for out of hours care, but my goodness, what a wonderful young vet.She then prescribed the necessary pain relief and instructions regarding recovery. We are only sorry she's not our regular vet , but we don't live on the island. Really cannot reccomend this vet highly enough, a pity all vets don't care as much as she does. Keep up the excellent work Lucie and good luck as you said you were studying crital care and emergency. A pleasure to meet you.

These vets have always been good with my cat and two dogs.I've been registered with them for 13 years. The staff are friendly, always happy to help with any concerns.I've phoned up out of hours before. The vets have been helpful and will always give advice.

We recently visited this practice to have our GSD vaccinated. She is not a fan of visiting the vets, or of needles! The vet we saw, Wetsi Moloi, was absolutely brilliant. Kind, patient and managed to get the job done, despite the odds! Other staff there have always been very kind and helpful too. I would certainly recommend them.

Had a bad experience at this vet' had to put my furbaby to sleep very recently and i must say that the after care was absolutely appauling' the vet nurse Isabella was cold' no empathy' no support' no comforting words she didn't even acknowledge me' however she did mention that my dog had rotten teeth' (what do you expect for a 14yr old dog) its all about the money at this vet and i'm not the only one to say that. I asked a question on I.O.W information page asking if anyone else had the same experience as me' and out of the 295 comments only two said that thy had a good experience' most of the comments were negative about this vets saying that its all about the money and not the care' and most of them praised up the vets at Carisbroke . I would strongly advise anyone that's thinking about going to this vets DON'T unless you have plenty of cash to spare and don't care about the after care..

Really helpful and friendly staff. Sadly our puppy ate some Hydrangea plant (which are toxic!) And began vomiting...we were seen straight away. The vet was very friendly and caring. Thank you so much.

I'm appalled by the lack of understanding this place has for animals that they supposedly treat!I spent months trying to get my ferrets booked in to be implanted to stop them coming in to season. Anyone that knows anything about ferrets knows Jills can't be left in heat! I spent weeks calling them, been told they'd give me a call back tomorrow (tomorrow never came!) They came into season and it took multiple angry phone calls for them to help me!I will give credit where it's due, the vet I saw when I went there last was lovely and knowledgeable but the rest of them don't give a toss. All of the receptionists I've had the displeasure of talking to have been rude.If you love your pets find another vetsthis dump has done me and my animals dirty too many times, on top of massively overcharging me for everything

We had to make the decision to put our cat to sleep last Monday. We found the vet cold and unsympathetic and seemed more interested in the money side. No basic examination ie temperature etc. was performed. However the reception staff were lovely very caring and supportive. We appreciate that the vets have to deal with situation a lot and of course the hospital needs to be viable financially to continue to provide service to the community.

Came down at 0600 to find our younger dog Ted fitting. Called Pet Doctors. Arrived 35 mins later. Lucie the vet was fantastic. Ted sorted with neurological exam, NAD! Hurrah! Bloods sorted. Professional and friendly. Thank you Lucie and the nurse who answered the phone, Kelly I think, if your name is wrong I apologise!
