Really nice spot for a great cup of coffee and a delicious cake or lunch, if you desire. The service is really friendly. They also have oat milk and some vegetarian/ vegan options.

Turned up without a reservation but were fitted in without a fuss. Fabulously fresh dishes prepared from the best of locally sourced ingredients. Service very friendly. Highly recommended.

Found this little gem by accident and ended up having a wonderful meal. A simple menu, beautifully executed with quality ingredients and big flavours. Staff were all really friendly and accommodating considering we just turned up on a busy Saturday night without a booking; really attentive service throughout and we felt very well looked after. Had mackerel/romescu sauce and potatoes, the nduja/marscapone pizza, and chocolate mousse to finish. All delicious and very reasonably priced. We will be coming back for sure. Highly recommended. Words won’t do this place justice but I’ll do my best! The setting, first and foremost, is unbelievably gorgeous, straight out of a book, the beautiful gardens and traditional farm house style buildings make for a completely involved experience, with everything coming from a place of real respect for the food and it’s humble beginnings - even the waiters dressed to match, lovely touch! We were sat outside enjoying the last of the sun, having 2 tangy and delicious homemade drinks, fig leaf cordial and a berry shrub. The focaccia and pork rillettes (pate) were a fitting start, instantly showing us how fresh and down to earth everything was going to be - great food, simple and divine! Once we moved inside, we couldn’t help but order in hindsight a little too much, but we enjoyed it all so much. The pizza was unsurprising grand, I mean look at it, and the seabass was perfectly cooked to flakey and crispy skin heaven, but what impressed us the most were the salads. I know! But when I say the salads are good, I mean, really really darn good. The tomato and mozzarella, fragrant basil to top was nothing like you’d imagine, the tomato so fresh and sweet and just mouthwatering. The same can be said about the beet and cucumber, hints of mint and black pepper to round it all off. Don’t skip the salads okay! Deserts followed the trend of being utterly indulgent but delicate, with a tiramisu, a hefty one at that, being as light as a tiramisu can be, packing flavour and airy coffee chocolatey goodness. Even the tea and water, fresh lemon verbena and infused with elderflower respectively were impressive. So simple but just done so well, little touches of quality and understanding to make the whole meal fabulous. Genuinely fantastic all round, and I think it’s a must stop in cornwall really, great paired with a day out in porthleven.

The food here is a delight whether coming for coffee and homemade Danish pastries or a lunch. Coffee is great and the choice on the lunch menu varies according to the availability of locally sourced produce. Great use is made of the wood oven and sourdough bread is often available to purchase. Being dog friendly is a bonus.

It's a rare case when 5 star is not enough! What a place. Just occasionally tried to find a place for lunch and discovered Flora. Food (we had salad and pizza), sweets, Coffee, atmosphere and service were amazing. Bravo to the team!

We had breakfast, a cardamon bun that was warm and fresh out of the oven and the yoghurt and granola - both were delicious. You can tell from the menu there is a focus on top quality seasonal produce with walled garden just behind the cafe. The courtyard is a beautiful place to sit and the staff were lovely. There is also an art gallery to browse in one of the buildings.

Everything about Flora is just perfect , the food, service , attention to detail the setting. We cannot wait to return next year to see what the new proprietors will have done. There is a wonderful kitchen garden which is in the process of being re planted. All the bread, the sourdough and rye and seeded crackers all made on site as well as the kombucha . I made an exception and had a slice of the wonderful pizzas they make, lovely light dishes , refreshing salads with local organic lettuces and freshly shelled peas, great dips and save room for dessert , highly highly recommend
