This place is awful!!! I bought a battery powered neon light. Took it home, turned it on and it made a high pitched noise that I could hear all the time. When I googled why it might do this, many sites said the lamp was likely faulty and producing too much voltage for it to handle, hence the noise.I took the light back the next day for a refund and was told they would only allow a partial refund because the staff member 'Blake' couldn't even hear it and I had used it so couldn't have the full refund.I know my consumer rights and I know for a fact that if an item is faulty, you are allowed a full refund REGARDLESS of the stores policy. Blake was very condescending and got one of his 'mates' to back him up in saying there was no noise. But then also admitted there was a noise but 'its not enough to warrant you bringing it back for a refund'. This member of staff should not be working in customer service. He was trying to tell me how I should feel about the product making a noise?!? He huffed and puffed at me and sniggered. My previous position in employment was as a manger in hospitality and I would never ever speak to a customer the way he spoke to me. I would also never get members of staff to 'back me up' and ultimately make a woman feel bullied.I should have steered clear of this shop with a name like Menkind. It SCREAMS misogyny. I really don't want to be this person and leave this review but the treatment I received today was abysmal.You'll be happy to know, Blake, that this matter has been dealt with by head office who have granted me a full refund after sending them a video of the lamp making the awful high pitched noise. So no doubt I will be back in store tomorrow to collect said refund. Just waiting on confirmation on how they would like to issue it to me.And for future reference, you don't get to tell someone if a noise is bothersome or not. People with sensory issues can hear differently than you. Younger people can hear differently than you. Your mindset is very, very closed and I do think you should possibly reconsider working in the public sector.

Great staff managers a top man

I love this place! It sells a range of different fun and funny gifts. I came here to get my brother a figure of Naruto which he couldn't find anywhere else and absolutely loved and I'll be back to get my own figure too! This shop also has some really cool deals as well that works a lot easier on my student wallet!
