I had an MOT done today and although my car failed it was still an great experience due to Malcolm being an absolute legend and making me smile. He also stayed a tad later to help to me out and re test the car after I had had it repaired . Thanks lovely fella x definitely will come back x

Traveled all the way from scotland for an MOT, as my car was going to run out the next day and all local garages near where I lived were fully booked for the next couple of weeks, I use to live near Richmond and knew about the drive threw MOT testing station, it has changed hands since I last was here but still the same set up and some same staff. 3 hour drive (1 hour stuck in tailback from a traffic accident on the A66) the only time I waited was due to the fact another car was getting tested before me, as soon as they were done, I went through and passed, absolutely thrilled, worth the 3 hour drive, staff are professionals. You stay in the car, drive over on to the testing bay, switch things on/off for the tester, they check under the car, joints, bushes, structure, steering, exhaust, then on to the rolling road, I use to have an older Range Rover which didn’t like the rolling road, they use to take the car for a drive to test the breaks, my newer car tested ok on the rolling road, had to break really hard and fast to check it’s braking force. Exhaust emissions and then drive round to the front and pay at reception and it was all done.
