Northern Ink Tattoo and Piercing - Huddersfield, UK

Had a cover up today, been a good few years since my last tattoo. The only part that really hurt was going over the old scars of my previous tattoo. Very nice man, i will go back for 3 smaller tattoos, reasonable prices. Very happy me. Though when asked what plans i have for tonight, i replied im going home to cry, but i didnt, i just got soaked walking home.Thankyou

John was amazing all the way through, from initial consultation to finished project. Not only I went for non-traditional design but John helped me in concept phase with plenty of knowledgeable consultations as he have decades of experience in design and execution - and it shows. He even managed to improve on previous artist work and blended new design with old flawlessly. All appointments were bang on time, studio was clean and professional. I know well where I will get my other projects done. Wholeheartly recommend!

I first went to see J. Lee in March 2022 for my consultation and was looking to get a Maori design on my right shoulder. We discussed different designs and layouts that I saw on the internet and decided to have a tattoo done on my right shoulder/upper arm.Due to my expat upbringing, I had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand/Australia when I was a teenager and got a first hand look at the different designs and became an admirer of the artwork.As someone who has played athletics my whole life - American football, baseball, basketball, football plus rugby in my 20’s for a local club in Texas, and recently Boxing, I feel my tattoo projects an image of strength and power while also embodying my inner athlete.If you are looking for a great Maori tattoo, I highly recommend J. Lee at Northern Ink, he has the experience and expertise that will give you a great tattoo that is worth the money and will give the admiration of others.

I'd been meaning to get my Playstation tattoo finished for a couple of years, and I couldn't have been happier with the result that I got from Jonny. Could not recommend this parlour more. I initially went in with a design that was too faint to use when blown up, but my artist Johnny went out of his way and spent quite a bit of time finding a new and better image that could be used! The design was a zodiac snake with a sun and moon symbol and it didn’t take long at all and the quality is absolutely amazing, could not be happier. Amazing prices and service too. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for good quality and detailed work.

I'm currently halfway through a large tribal nordic tattoo on my back and I'm really happy with it so far. It's a custom piece redesigned from some images I had. It's progressing at a nice pace and I'm definitely coming back here for my second one. I Highly recommend the studio.

I went for an initial consult about getting two (old and very tired) tattoos redone, and Johnny was able to quickly identify who did the orginal designs, and also knew the original tattooist, from back in the day. He took a collaborative approach in discussing ideas for further work. Work that I have wanted to have done ever since I had my original tattoos - that being an authentic realist piece of black and grey artwork depicting a Native American morality tale/landscape I read about as a young teenager.During the consult, I was also impressed with the range and quality of the work demonstrated throughout his extensive portfolio. I knew then I had come to the right place for my piece.Two tattoos now redone, and I am really happy with the results. Johnny has put his own twist on the original designs, and they both look great. I'm looking forward to completing the whole piece, and fulfilling my long held wish. He has both my trust and my thanks.UPDATEI've had further work completed since my reworks, and very happy with the results. Another three elements to go, and my whole piece will be completed. I was wanting both my lower arms tattooing but I had some very unique design ideas. Jonny at Northern Ink was really helpful when we were discussing these ideas and is a very professional tattoo artist.Due to the complex nature of the work I have had many sessions at Northern Ink and have got to know John quite well.He has tattoo'd in many different countries around the world and this experience shows in his work.Great service and an easy atmosphere - I would highly recommend Jonny and Northern Ink.
