Room was very clean and warm , Lisa and Nick were the best room management we had by far . They were very kind and friendly. They were very accommodating and flexible and helped us to travel back to airport when it was snowingEvery thing was perfect . For sure we will go back one day

We stayed for 3 nights while we attended a family wedding. We were very pleasantly surprised. In a nice area, a quiet cul de sac, just off the high st. The room wasn't massive, but perfectly adequate., with sole use of the bathroom. The room was tidied every day, and clean towels supplied. Breakfast was continental, with a good range. We never went hungry! We were able to help ourselves to tea/coffee, and were able to store stuff in the fridge. The house was decorated beautifully, and was exceptionally clean. The hosts were a lovely couple, very friendly, but not intrusive. They work from home, so were on hand 4 any problems etc. There was free Wi-Fi, and parking. The area was a fairly new estate, very quiet, beside a little stream. A very beautiful area. Its a 5mins walk into the town centre, where there are pubs and eateries. Its quite central for many attractions, and trips out. We had a lovely time, and have no hesitation in recommending this for anyone who wants to visit the area.

Wonderful, Nick and Lisa are perfect hosts, exceeded my expectations. Super clean everywhere, biscuits and sleep spray in the room, bathroom nice, roomy bathroom with bath and shower. Lovely cosy place with everything you need for a restful stay. They have a dog, but she was no bother at all, sweet and well behaved, had a positive impact on our stay. Good value and compared with accomodations available it is absolutely the best in the area.

Nick and Lisa's b and b was perfect, a lovely comfortable bed in a lovely clean room. The bathroom is spotless with plenty of soap and shampoo.. Lisa supplied us with a fan due to the hot nights which was a blessing, Lisa and Nick are so friendly and helpful, and they have a beautiful dog to that is so well behaved. There are plenty of places to eat not far and there is a beautiful brook that runs just down the road from the house. I would highly recommend this place,

A lovely house to stay in. Very comfortable and relaxing. Quiet area. Lisa was very welcoming and we had a wonderful two night stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nick and Lisa’s place is spotless and they go out of there way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We couldn’t have had a better stay absolutely no complaints and the loveliest people and room. Highly recommend for any kind of stay

Bit like staying at your aunts house, room immaculately clean, very comfortable mattress and duvet for an excellent nights sleep, but not the sort of room i would want to stay in for to long, unless you like lying in bed all day. Lisa was very accommodating waiting me to arrive later than expected and getting up early to serve a good breakfast which you can preselect. The name suggest a quite charming riverside cottage, the reality is a new build on a small estate, close to a brook. its not 5 stars but great value and worth 4 and a half with most people topping it up to 5 for the friendly service and nice touches with the toiletries and cookies.

Lisa and Nick are the perfect B&B hosts, responsing very quickly and always providing solutions. The bedroom and adjacent bathroom were well cleaned and spacious. Excellent bed for good night sleep. What was not entirely clear for me before arriving (probably due to my bad reading of the B&B description) is that you actually share space in the same house (though the bathroom is entirely private for you). This was something to get used to for me as regular hotel visitor.
