Hola,SALT Edinburgh is a great place to learn Spanish, as a beginner or to improve your knowledge of the language already.The classes are small, giving each student a chance to participate and the lessons provide a comfortable atmosphere allowing you to practice your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills. Extra information and homework is available, as well as a DVD library and online support.I would reccommend SALT Edinburgh to anyone who is looking to learn Spanish in a fun and relaxed environment!

I have been going to SALT since 2012 and I have only positive feedback to share. The teachers are native speakers which makes the experience of learning Spanish very real. The student groups are small and the teacher has enough time to let everyone speak up and exercise their Spanish. Additionally, the courses are affordable and indeed better priced than many other places in Edinburgh.

I wouldn't recommend SALT. I attended their complete beginners course and it's not suitable at all for a beginner course in terms of content and delivery style. I have sent this to friends and other Spanish tutors and they agree that it's not the best for beginners. The school may be good for students who are more advanced with their learning, but sadly my beginner experience was poor.

I am almost finishing my second module at SALT and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It was a lot of help, my spanish improved a lot in quite a short time. I like the size of the classes, easy and fun to learn. The people are very nice, made friends and enjoyed the multicultural environment.

I have found the classes enjoyable and useful, clear and well-structured, with an emphasis on grammar and usage. Small groups give everyone a chance to participate with confidence. I would definitely recommend SALT to anyone wishing to learn or improve Spanish.

I started attending lessons at an intermediate level at SALT about 5 years ago and I never stopped! Jorge is a great teacher and very passionate about teaching.Even with covid and the necessity to move to online classes, he's managed to keep the lessons interesting and lively by always looking for new learning materials and supports. I can only recommend SALT if you are looking to learn and/or improve your spanish!

SALT Edinburgh is the best place to learn Spanish in Edinburgh. I've been going for their courses for a number of semesters now and really enjoyed it. Some of the assets of the school are great teachers who develop a really friendly relation with the students, interesting and diverse class content and small class sizes. Additionally, SALT have a great DVD library full of Spanish movies and also organise group outings to different cultural events. Highly recommended!

I have been very happy at SALT Edinburgh with the various levels of Spanish courses . My impression was so good from the elementary course for different reasons : first of all for the good skills and high professionalism of the teachers; in the second place for the nice and positive atmosphere during the lessons and the friendly relationship between student and teachers. This is a great place to learn Spanish. The tutors are very friendly and good fun, and the variety of different exercises helps to keep you engaged throughout each session. I am a current student with SALT, and I have improved my Spanish a lot since beginning to study here. The classes are enjoyable and well structured, and are designed to help you to develop skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking the language. For me, the opportunities to practice my conversational skills have been particularly useful. The teachers help create a nice learning environment, and are friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. They are also very good at explaining difficult concepts.In addition to the lessons, SALT also offers students access to a DVD library of Spanish language films, and information about each week's class is provided online should you miss a lesson. I hope to continue to study with SALT, and highly recommend the classes to others who have an interest in learning Spanish in Edinburgh.
