The Dutch Barn
A relaxing and aesthetically contemporary delight awaits those who stay at The No.1 Dutch Barn. The lush, tranquil countryside is serene and quiet, bar the occasional bleats from the local sheep population! An architecturally interesting build, with all modern conveniences; this Wicken gem will not disappoint. We would highly recommend this as a mini-break destination.

The Dutch Barn
We were lucky enough to have a week long stay at the Dutch barn. We opted for Dutch barn 3, a lovely 3 bed with a large open plan living, dining and kitchen. The bedrooms are all on the bottom floor, meaning you have amazing panoramic views out to the farm from the top floor.The barn itself is super clean and modern with great internet connection.The barn and it's surroundings had a calming/ relaxing feel to it. We couldn't recommend the property enough!

The Dutch Barn
We had the pleasure of staying at TheDutchBarn while waiting for our house to become available. Spacious living area with a very well equipped kitchen, beds were very comfortable. Beautiful views of the fields from top floor , everything so peaceful and quiet which makes for a true getaway. Sophie couldn't have been more accommodating and we shall definitely recommending to our London friends for their city escapes.

I’ve stayed in 3 different units (No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5) in The Dutch Barn over the past year, and they have all been consistently outstanding.The surroundings are peaceful, very well-maintained, and feels safe. Private parking is ample. Even when the property is operating at full capacity, it still felt private as we could hardly hear or feel other people’s presence.The spacious, modern-yet-cozy apartments are intuitively designed with attention to detail, and look exactly like the photos (if not even better).Everything looks and feels almost brand new, and super clean.The farmland views are gorgeous, the light that streams through the generous rows of windows, and the high ceilings give a sense of airy and spacious comfort.Comfortable beds, strong showers, well-equipped kitchen; everything that one needs to feel at home away from home.Features one can’t see but feel such as underfloor heating, ventilation system that circulates airflow, and thermostat worked quietly during winter and summer. We always felt very comfortable indoors, in spite of the weather outside.Sophie is a fantastic host; responsive, professional, and accommodating. I cannot believe she doesn’t have a team of cleaners. She is amazing at turning the apartments around, and her cleaning standards put some 5-star hotels to shame.In case you couldn’t already tell, I’m a huge fan of The Dutch Barn. I wish all other hotels and bnbs could take a leaf out of their book. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate. You’ll thank yourself for it.

The Dutch Barn
We had a fab stay at No1 Dutch Barn. Immaculately clean and beautifully presented super modern interior. Especialy loved the super quality bedding. The lovely friendly owners have kitted this place out so well and no detail has been forgotten, making you feel very welcome. It's a very tranquil place, perfect for a total relax with beautifully landscaped gardens and views. We visited the local pub, The White Lion in Wicken, for excellent home cooked food - you could walk in the daylight. We visited both Waddesdon Manor and its annual Chilli Festival where we had afternoon tea, and we walked the wonderful parkland style gardens of Stowe House. Preston Bissett Garden Centre is a magical find - a small independent nursery with many seldom seen plants and bargains. Plus obvously a speedy shopping trip to Milton Keynes! A great place to stay and a wonderful place to relax away from it all.Highly recommended.

The Dutch Barn
We have been staying here regular for the last 4 months. Its absolutely amazing beds are really comfy along with the rest of the accommodation. It's nice a quiet here and the nearest shop is about 5 min away by car. The accommodation has everything you need to cook and the rooms are large and really well set out, it's all very modern and very clean. Never had a problem 10 out of 10.

I didn't stay there but my family stayed there for a week whilst visiting us. It is absolutely beautiful and immaculate! It has a designer feel to it without being sterile. It's cozy, clean and stylish. My family was over the moon and will definitely be back.

We stayed in No1 for about 25 nights between moving house, and everything was perfect! The place was spacious, extremely comfortable and Sophie was a lovely and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Beautiful barn conversion in a very peaceful setting. The decor is stylish and high quality and the owners have really thought about how to make a perfect holiday let for family life. We loved our time at The Dutch Barn, highly recommended.

The Dutch Barn
The moment you enter the building you know you are in a good place. There is this wonderfully calm feeling about it. The vies are simply beautiful. The vaulted ceiling lets you breathe. The room temperature is constantly just right. The furnishings are beautifully custom made. The kitchen and utility supplies are well thought out. Everything is squeaky clean. The gardens are a delight. And the owners are positively charming. A real gem. Go for it.
