Have always been a big fan of the screwfix customer service - until yesterday. Popped in on the way home from a job - spoke to some slacker with a deputy manager badge, who refused to process my order, instead pointed to an instore tablet to make the order. Having already waited 10 mins to be served, decided to buy elsewhere. So a £100 order lost in a flash. Nice work Screwfix!

I don't often place an order over the phone but on this occasion I did. I must have missed the part where a deadline was given and I ordered too late for next day delivery. When the payment page came it DIDNT warn me that it was no longer available for next day delivery.I turned up the following day to collect only to find that it was not available. Maybe a little more clarity on the payment page please, just to make sure customers are fully aware that they have missed the order by" time if that is the case."

Its a nice store with great staff that are always helpful, they have funny conversations which adds to the friendly environment, they don't always have everything I want and sometimes the things I order on next day delivery take longer than usual but I understand with the times we are in, things are difficult and the staff are doing their best, so much respect to them

Lovely staff. They are very helpful and carried a heavy lawnmower to my car for me. Only problem was that by the time I assembled it at home the handlebars were far to high for me (I'm only 5ft) and the top of the handlebar was just below my chin! So I had to return it, struggled to get it back in the car but a lovely staff member came out and carried it back in the store, he was a really cheerful guy and sorted out my refund straight away. I shop regularly at screwfix for my DIY stuff, they have great prices and the service is second to none. Highly recommend them.

Order for Propane heaterOrder was placed and turned up to collect, only after taking payment did the staff find that they didn't have it in the store. Absolutely shocking, i could have bought this same product from several other suppliers at a cheaper price but thought to come here as they are reputable. Next time i will go for another supplier.

All staff are helpful but not all staff are knowledgeable about the items you require. The queues go down quick and I've never had to wait a long time for my purchases. They sell a good range.
