Vivary Park
Vivary Park was just lovely. Wonderful display of flowers and trees , as well as a lake with ducks etc. it was so peaceful & Traquil hard to believe its just a stones throw from a busy shopping centre. The band stand was stunning as was the ornamental fountain. Would definitely recommend this lovely park, perfect for a picnic obviously weather permitting.

I love visiting this park whenever I’m in Taunton and have the time. There’s loads of space to walk and plenty of benches if you need a rest. There’s even a bench that’s been placed on behalf of the Ricky Gervais Netflix show “After Life.” On this particular day, the flowers were in bloom and were absolutely gorgeous. There’s a large open field where you can walk, play or sun yourself. Even when the park is somewhat busy, it’s so large and spread out that you don’t notice it as much. Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near Taunton. It’s a fantastic escape from the busy high street. Oh, and yes, there are public toilets if needed.

This is an excellent park right in the centre of Taunton. It has brilliant facilities including a tennis club, golf, and some extremely well designed children's play areas. There are delightful walks around the park and further afield. It appears to be dog friendly with many dog waste bins for conscientious owners. There is a very friendly vegan cafe.

A very beautiful park which is hosting a famous flower exhibition every summer. Unfortunately for me I haven’t had a chance to see this exhibition as I arrived a week before the venue. Plenty of activities as a rope walk, tennis court or cricket field. Massive monument with names of Taunton’s men [heroes] from a Great war. Park start with a huge metal gate which get open everyday just before 8AM till dusk. Wonderful historical water fountain right in the middle is a must to see.

Lovely park, loads of space for a picnic, lots of play area for the kids. A pond with ducks. Beautiful flowers. Great for a walk, relax and even a nice place for a photoshoot. There's cafes and ice cream vans also restrooms.

The park is so much cleaner and better presented than it was when I was a teenager. Spent a lovely afternoon there in the sun today, and it was nice to see so many families having a lovely day out in the park!

Good place to chill out. Has shelters for wet weather. Good kids play park. Dogs on leads only. Refreshments available including ice cream. Closes early evening. I go there 2 or 3 times a week.

Great playground for the kids with a coffee shop and toilets next to it. The park itself is very well kept with some beautiful plantings. Avoid feeding the seagulls though as they can get aggressive and scare smaller children.
