My favourite ´big´ supermarket in Reading. It has everything you need and loads of fresh fish and meat which you can´t really find elsewhere.

A truly depressing place. The store is messy and never stocked up. The layout is disjointed. The pricing is often wrong or missing altogether, and the product choice is simply poor. The healthy food aisle has been reduced to near nothing so were the sections with the international foods and premium products. The physical opening times don’t match those in an online directory. It feels like the senior management concluded that, as the supermarket is in a deprived area of the town, its customers have no funds nor desire to eat well and shop well. Therefore, they deserve nothing more than the poor offering, if anything at all. There’s nothing there to inspire you or to lift you up, or god forbid, to broaden your culinary horizons. Every visit to that store (and I don’t visit it often despite living within less than 10-minute walk from the supermarket) fills me with a deep sadness and lowers my mood to the borderline depressive.

Great service from Morrisons Staff -particularly at the Meadowhead branch. The Morrisons restaurant/café is a great place for a quick snack or a meal.As a vegetarian, I have a lot of choice when I dine in the café.The staff in the Morrisons restaurant/café are the bast at customer service and they are extremely friendly & professional.

Large store, most products were over price (in comparison to other stores), gents toilet very filthy (not recommended), self service tills not enough staff as several customers were left waiting for help (including myself). I definitely would not recommend shopping at this store

I would strongly advise against dining at the cafe. I've been there on three separate one , and each time, they've been unable to provide service due to understaffing, food shortages, or issues with their dishwasher. During my most recent visit, I was informed that they had run out of food, but after I mentioned my intention to file a complaint, they miraculously had food available.

Going through some changes at the minute so be patient. Good selection of food and wine and at a reasonable price. Parking is plentiful as well. Staff always friendly.
