Disclosing a bit of history by the week. The volunteers are doing a cracking job unearthing the remains of what must at one time have been a magnificent building. We've been walking in the ruins for decades and around the grounds. Lovely views over Chorley and over to Preston

Absolutely lovely up here. Quite a steep walk up the steps to get here but well worth it. Beautiful views over Lancashire and greater Manchester. Lots of historical buildings to look at and there's always the climb up the pike
