LOOKS: Colour scheme a little whimsical, but the dome makes up for it. 3/5LOCATION: On the coast and near an RSPB reserve. 4/5UTILITY: 2nd to last place in terms of net MWe production. Planned to close last out of the big 5, and EDF are considering extending its 2035 closure date by 20 years. 3/5GENERAL:I thought I'd had the pleasure of visiting Sizewell B a couple of years ago on a lads' holiday to Clacton. I audaciously boasted my knowledge of the planned Sizewell C as I pointed across the bay at the two grey goliaths that dominated the surrounding countryside. Alas, my ego had clearly got the better of me. It was Bradwell.Delusion aside, I very generously gave this national treasure a 5-star review. I believe in my youth it was of a much more simple nature, when I was just trying to cast the net out and make a name for myself; reading 10/10 would go again".My review garnered some 25

Definitely worth booking the tour. Really interesting and you get to hug a nuclear powered turbine. Really impressive stuff.

Probably my favourite Sizewell. A lot of people try to make the case for A, but you know where you are with the B copy. Also, Sizewells kind of went downhill after that: They changed the drummer in 1993 and their sound was never the same. I mean, Clarksy was great, but he's never really gelled with the rest of them. So, yeah, if you can get hold of an original pressing, Sizewell B is *well worth* your time. Look out for the third track, Neutron Flux". Brilliant."

My wife and I came quite close to dying on the beach just north of the powerplant. Summer of 1979, we were stationed at RAF Woodbridge, and lived in Leiston. We enjoyed going to the coast. One day, we were perhaps 2 km north of the plant, the two of us, and four punks rolled up on us in a Range Rover. They got out, and it was pretty spicy for a bit. They made some comments to my wife. I picked up a large rock, and was quite prepared to use it. I told them that no matter what happened, they get a smashed windshield (windscreen, to them), and questions would be asked. To. This. DAY...I remember the plate. UYL777S.

AMAZING! The journey was slightly long but a brilliant tour including the turbine hall was absolutely awesome!
