As a deacon from St Michael's, the local Catholic church, I visit Abbeycrest on a regular basis. The management team have always encouraged my visits since they have an awareness of the spiritual needs as well as the physical needs of their residents. The caring staff are always very helpful, whether it be helping me find an individual person or preparing for our monthly communal service. I have always find Abbeycrest a most welcoming place and enjoy my interaction with both residents and staff.

Lucy and I just want to say a huge Thank you for having us over at Abbeycrest today. We really enjoyed our visit the home was lovely it really had that high-end hotel feel. We could tell from when we walked in how calming the home was it flowed all the way throughout the home. The rooms were amazing and the carers were all so friendly! Abbeycrest has really set the bar high for our first care home visit!

I have regularly visited Abbeycrest over the last year to entertain the residents - it is a happy place, with helpful and organised staff, and from what I have seen manages to balance the need to be a home while still being a care environment. We look forward to performing there!

I recently attended the cafe" held at Abbeycrest and was absolutely delighted at the turn out. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and the residents as well as the general public all appeared to be happy and engaging with each other.I very much look forward to attending the next "cafe" as it is a great way of engaging with the local community.A lovely friendly and very welcoming care home."

I would be over the moon if my 99 year old mother was able to reside at Abbeycrest. The minute you walk through the door the staff are welcoming and compitent. Watching them interacting with the residents is heart warming; their professionalism is totally reassuring. The nursing home is purpose- built to a very high standardand offering great food, social events and skilled nuring facilities; a real home from home.

Abbeycrest nursing home has a homely and caring vibe, nothing is to much trouble from the care team or the hospitality team. We all work together to make the residents life better. Socialising is a big thing in Abbeycrest during meal times or activities we try to get all residents involved. the Catering team are city in guilds accredited to deliver all catering needs for all residents. No matter what is asked we always try to deliver and get the residents involved in all we do at Abbeycrest.

you can change the name of the company the toxic lazy atmosphere bullying overall ,lack of compassion sticks ....nurses lazy while carers are worked into the ground.manager likes the phrase narssist and humiliating .others with guts to stand up for wat they beleve .... .two faced...........iv e advised those looking for work never work at abbycrest care home .... your mental health will be destroyed .

My mother-in-law moved into Abbeycrest Care Home, Sonning Common in February 2021. In June 2021 she fell out of bed after being left on her side and suffered an Intracranial Haemmorage and 5 days later she died. Abbeycrest didn't think she was in any danger of falling out of bed" so didn't put any bed rails up. Also an expensive diamond and emerald ring disappeared from the ring box shortly after she moved in with nobody knowing what happened to it. We chose Abbeycrest for her because she lived in Sonning Common and wanted to go there - how we wish we hadn't"

Our music duo plays at Abbeycrest regularly. We see happy residents who really enjoy their music and love to sing along or dance. Sometimes some of them chat to us, although at a distance due to covid, and seem very content. The staff are always very caring and attentive towards us and the residents and have been very vigilant with protecting the residents during covid. Seems like a very nice home to us.
