Fab place! Offers so much and has such friendly staff- feels like my 2nd home as I feel so comfortable and can persue my goals in tailoring/design etc

My 10 year old son went to the summer holiday club and really enjoyed it, there was a sewing room and an art room and he made a cushion, a bag and a bucket hat and enjoyed the art activities also, the people who run it are really lovely and helped him a lot

I have completed the City and Guilds Pattern Cutting course in 2021. It was something I wanted to learn after experiencing a terrible learning experience at pattern cutting at university. Many years on I saw a stall at the Creative Show and Brenda told me all about the course. I signed up and I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. It has restored my confidence in pattern cutting and I have a better understanding of pattern cutting.I also learnt some new sewing techniques. The course can be challenging sometimes but I felt great when I overcome the challenge. The teachers were excellent. They offered a lot of advice, guidance and were very patient. I live about 92 miles from Bromsgrove and did the course over weekends, once a month and stayed at the Holiday Inn when I visited. I also met some new friends and it was really nice to talk to people who share the same interest as me. I now have a portfolio of work from the course. I would happily take another course there as the teaching is excellent.

I attended an Elvis jumpsuit workshop at the IDC college this weekend with Caroline from Sew la di da Vintage which I loved! Brenda and her team are so warm, friendly and welcoming, they made me feel right at home straight away! I am a very rusty, novice sewer but the workshop has really boosted my confidence and given me the boost to get back on my sewing machine!! I will definitely be back for more workshops and would recommend this experience to anyone - you won't regret it!!!!
