Finished my GCSEs here last month after a somewhat rollercoaster ride of a five years here and now that it's over I'm a little bit lost for words to say about it but I'm just gonna throw everything I can think of into this review before I sign off for good. The school is fine, the teaching is up to an amazing standard (particularly English and history) and if you pay attention you will be able to take it all in and use that to get the knowledge you need to become successful. The teachers themselves are good people. One very strange thing though is that it was very chop and change during my time at this school. When I started in sept. 2017 compared to when I finished in Jun. 2022 there were only a few teachers there that were also there at the start. The reasons for teachers leaving so often and constant use of supply teachers is unknown to me. It's either the way the school is viewed or maybe it's just the way the cookie crumbles. The students are very hit and miss. A lot of my former peers are amazing people who are very supportive and always have positives about them and I've been able to bond with many people of different backgrounds and interests. Some students though have got on my nerves and a certain one (I won't say his name obviously) got to me the most and this was mainly when I started. He would make my life hell and would use constant slurs and threaten physical violence to me which i struggled to deal with at times. I don't even know why he did it. Eventually this stopped but he remained a minor hostility until his eventual permanent exclusion from the school in the fourth year I was there but all and all this is a message to parents who plan on sending their children to this school. Make sure they tell you everything and if they are given a hard time by others or not because if so you must contact the SLT team to sort it out which they hopefully will. But overall I will never forget my time at this school, it is an experience that will be lodged inside of me forever and hopefully this feeling will be shared by others who have left/leaving this school after their time there.

Dreadful school, head doesn't give a dam about the safety of pupils if you value your child don't send them here. Probably the worst high school in Stockport.

Just recently graduated from this school and I can say it has been an experience however when it comes down to it this school is as good as any other and now with the change in headteacher it has only improved. As for the food it's fine and I personally never had any bad experiences with it the only complaint I have about the school is the students as in my 5 years at that school the boys toilets stunk no matter how many times it was cleaned as for the teachers I have a tip for any new students, If you are nice to them they will be nice to you. And even at that I miss them already and the most common explanation for all the bad reviews are the result of one bad day which sadly everyone has and with that I must say it has been an enjoyable and productive few years and would reccomed this school

Absolutely awful experience at this school. Parents concerns and complaints are ignored or responded to in a condescending manner, the teachers display zero empathy, there is no communication between different departments at all and it is in essence an all round shambles.
