Mixed vegetables in black bean sauce was LOTS of beansprouts and some thinly sliced veg. It was a tub of slop. Never again.

Actually very disappointing. I don’t like to criticise but would like to offer constructive criticism. Obviously this is run by different people because I remember going to this place a while ago and it was very good. While the staff is certainly very friendly and efficient the food was disappointing. Vegetable chowmein- a tiny bit of onion, sweetcorn, green pepper and mushrooms. And I mean minimal. . Hardly a vegetable chow mein. A tin of bamboo shoots or water chestnuts isn’t that expensive ffs. Neither is Chinese cabbage or peas and carrots or bean shoots for that matter. A tiny bit of fresh green would have been nice at least. Spring rolls were something I could have bought frozen from farmfoods. Although the king prawn sweet and sour was very tasty it was extremely basic, fried prawns with a sauce you could buy from farmfoods again, and that’s it. A tin of pineapple and a green pepper don’t cost that much either. Yet you still charge the same price as somewhere much better.. You need to up your game, it wouldn’t take much. I won’t be going back in the near future. Just saying.
