Wish I could give a five star rating to my round today, however it probably was worthy of a single⭐, solely for attendance & effort.Back to the driving range tomorrow methinks. It could of been worse, I suppose, it might have rained....oh no...wait...it did chuffing rain!

A really nice golf club, we enjoyed the course which isn't one for the big hitters measuring 5800 ish yards off the yellow tees. The strength of the course is in the placement of shots required. Lots of doglegs and interesting 'quirky' holes which kept our focus! A poor shot and you can easily ramp up a score here!We all thought that the course was in great condition. The greens were quick and required attention to read the breaks. There are a couple of long walks to get to the next tee however, one being the entire length of the fareway! I personally didn't mind it as like I said earlier it was interesting because it was quirky. The clubhouse looked really nice and we found the staff friendly and helpful.Unfortunately by the time we finished our round the club house had stopped serving food. Which brings me on to the conclusion, because of the kitchen being closed in the club house we were directed into St Neots Town centre to eat. A definite surprise as its a 2 minute drive and really nice! Particularly by the river (a pub called the bridge is worth visiting for its location) none of us had been to St Neots before but definitely pleasantly surprised. A mini Cambridge style I suspect. So worth a visit to the golf club? I'd say yes for all levels of golfers but the big hitters might not enjoy the quirky lay out.A nice spot to which we will return.

Greens awful. Nice club house. £5.00 minium on card. Proshop staff look as if he just wanted to go home.

Club house leaves a lot to be desired, drinks are overly expensive too.

Lovely course. Have to tuck shirts in & white socks. They need to move in to the 21st century.

I had my 65th birthday party at this venue and what a great experience! The staff are amazing!Mandy has kept us informed along the way and always been so helpful! The food was fantastic and at the end of the evening the staff helped us to clear away everything. I would definitely recommend this venue, lots of room, massive bar, we had 80 people come and there was loads of space on the dance floor and to move about. Thanks very much.

Its a real surprise as you walk round the fairly plain 1990s looking club house to see the gorgeous looking fairways of the 18th and 1st, fantastic fairway definition that wouldn't look our of place at a championship course. Its not the longest of courses which was quite refreshing as I could keep the driver in the bag for most of the round, intrestingly I wonder if that's one of the reasons I had my best score of the year at 7 over, amazingly without any birdies! I really enjoyed the round and my wife also rated the course. The outside seating area is right next to the 18th green which makes it interesting to sit and watch the golfers coming in, its worth while making sure you are facing down the fairway! The pro was super friendly and helpful as I had made mistake with our booking but he really helped get us out. My first experience of playing in Cambridgeshire and certainly a memorable one.

A beautiful course, in great condition. I visited today, but only had chance to play the first 10 holes, taking me back to the clubhouse. This is a very tight course, not leaving much room for error off the tee. The course was very well maintained, perfect fairways, good bunkers and, although a little slow today, good running greens. I have already recommended the course to friends, and I am looking forward to my next visit.
