Absolutely inept council . I am shocked at the state of the city which looks like a war zone. They have the audacity to hand out the exorbitant parking fines all over the city when they themselves are clearly unable to do their job.

BET YOUR A CONSERVATIVE COUNCIL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELFS AND TO DO IT AT NITE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH SAFETY WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS YOU ARE!! I live in Berkshire and if our council did this they would get what they got when they built the Newbury by-pass!!! I'm in solidarity with the people of Plymouth on this!!

Cowards they hide behind forms and broken phone lines to not deal with what they should be.The culture of hiding in this country is very present! How is it people can have so little dignity. We are expected to pay taxes but we don’t receive appropriate support when issues arise.This is becoming a third world country

Plymouth city council is run by the most corrupted people ever to hit the earth like most councils. you pay for services which are not reflected in the service, they hand out more parking permits than spaces so for the stupid amount you pay you get nothing half the time but rubbish all over the place but they have the funds to fund an army of parking wardens but police and nhs and local services are just not in the budget. council is sky high but your collection has dropped. in short avoid Plymouth

At least they are trying...It can't be easy looking after a city and the care of so many. One thing I can say is that Plymouth Council is much better run than Brighton's where I come from. Clearing the weeds on our street, collecting so much fly tipping because people simply don't care, cleaning our streets make a huge difference to our lives and help so much with anti social behaviour, allowing new construction and projects for the city, organising events and festivals. One problem remains urban graffiti"
