Lux Apartment

Best place to stay in if you are in Bangor. Amazing view and close to town center and all the stores are near by. Also have a nice backyard to sir in and enjoy your coffee in the evning. Very clean and neat place, with all the amenities and parking space too.

Modern accommodation, with great facilities. For a family of 4 this was an ideal location to explore the North Wales area for everything it had to offer. Easy for Snowdonia and also the coastline, brilliant. The apartment was spacious and had everything to support a busy family break. My only mark down us due to the bed in the main bedroom, to match the accomodation a new bed would a good idea. But, other than that this was fab. Easy for arrival and departure. Great base for going out to different places everyday.Not suitable for elderly or person who has disabilities as you have to step into the bath to take shower.Beds are too low down but comfortable.

Didn’t work for me, lack of dishwasher and washing machine caused a lot of chaos and inconvenience. People go to enjoy holidays, not to wash utensils. I felt it was on purpose to discourage people from cooking or using too much electricity. There’s something wrong with shower also you need to keep adjusting the tap, cannot give the whole list but anyways not a comfortable experience I would say.

Looks nice and tidy but is NOT fully clean. The main issue was the bedsheets did not smell fresh and you could easily assume they were not changed from previous occupants as there were a few hairs on the sheets. The toilet sink was blocked with hairs. Just getting the basics wrong tbh.If you book just make sure they are ontop of these issues as it probably requires loosing of the purse strings a little from the owner and more organisation, possibly a change of the cleaner/cleaning company. Generally ok.

Spacious apartment. Need to call owner to let them open door and leave key inside. But aren’t willing to do this after 8pm?Relatively clean. Bathroom shower curtain was disgusting. No bathroom mat provided so floor gets soaked. Fridge barely functions.Description says toilet paper provided. Was given 1 roll for 4 people for 4 days. Contacted the owner to get some more, who said they would be dropped off - they never arrived!Ground floor flat can hear every footstep from 1st floor. Very noisy.

WiFi didn't work however had the ground floor apartment to our selves. There's three apartments in one big house so be mindful of parking but overall nice place to stay. 4/5 for WiFi not working as we had another couple ask us about it.

What a fantastic week we've had. The house was a perfect location for visiting Snowdon and the local area. The 3 bed upstairs was a fantastic size and layout for us and our 3 sons (11,14&18) and I can imagine the view on a nice day would be amazing. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us. The open plan worked really well, and the secret addition of a table football in the loft was an added bonus. The shower and toilet in the master bedroom was a bit of a strange set up and there is no freezer compartment but from reading previous reviews we were prepared. The WiFi was a little slow and the TV is not a smart one but it was a blessing in disguise as it meant we had to play games and talk instead. We would definitely recommend Lux apartments.

The place is in a fantastic location and looks great, but there are a few issues... It's not as clean as it should be, issues with bedding and the towel in the bathroom. No washing up sponges, no tea towels or oven gloves, only one additional bin bag. My apartment had a fridge freezer, but our other family member upstairs had no freezer, this could have been a big issue if we did not have downstairs as well. Upstairs had a dish washer but downstairs we did not. These may not seem like big issues, but make a holiday more effort than it should be.

Love coming here with friends to get away, very clean and tidy! Nice owner
