Called for some kebab meat and chips, kebab meat was microwaved and dripping with fat in the tray, chewy and horrible, chips were stale and cold 6.50 down the drain.. never call in an empty shop is my moto, staff friendly so 2 stars..

Just got fish and chips from here, let me tell you now people put this on your avoid listIf I had actually seen her was the sunflower oil of the fish I could have proved it must have arrived at the shop in a small tin with six or seven other siblings but unfortunately it had already been lost in some form of batter and deep fried then I managed to lose it in the chipsThe only consolation to come out of this is my council tax will be well spent when the bin truck try’s lifting the bin with more fat in it than most small whales carry

Steve's is my local preferred chip shop. Good food and well cooked. And the staff are very plesent.However. I recently visited the chippy & a number of customer came in after me NOT WAREING FACE MASKS despite your signage & to my surprise where not challenged by the staff.It is a legal requirement and is punishable by a fine to you and your staff.I was very tempted on leaving all together. You need to remind your staff its for their own safety and that of other customers who may be the shop.

Service without a smile!Chicken pie, £3.50, what a rip off, not even a decent branded pie at that and the chips soggy, certainly not returning.
