We had a really lovely meal before going to a show next door at the Theatre.The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was good, food was delicious and very reasonably priced.We'd certainly book again if we're in Sunderland.

Great quality food and also very competitive price for a city centre restaurant. We had a great couples meal here. Authentic Italian cuisine and lovely drinks as well.Shout out to Seb whose Mojitos were superb!!!

Delicious Sunday lunch, all of the meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, gravy was super tasty. Staff were lovely and helpful. 100% will be back again and 100% recommend.

We had an amazing time for our family night out! The staff was lovely and provided us with a speedy service. I cannot stress how delicious the food is and if you are a lobster lover like myself, then you have to try the Surf and Turf! The lemon sorbet was unbelievable too :)

The place was rammed on a Tuesday night which meant that service took a while, but it was friendly and accommodating. Once we ordered, food came out pretty quick despite it being busy. The food is average, nothing to rave on about like so many people here. I’d recommend the goats cheese starter for sure. The mains dishes are plentiful but if you’re after elegance, you might want to head somewhere else. Oh, and it’s dirt cheap!

Came last year and it was fantastic. Back again and even better. Staff attentive and efficient and very helpful. Food amazing. Servings enormous! No booking but we were seated within a minute and the drinks arrived within 3 mins. Food arrived 5 mins later. Beautifully cooked and piping hot. Would recommend this place to anyone. Will be back next time we are in Sunderland. Thank you to all the staff xxx

We booked a table for 8 at 4pm so we'd have plenty of time to finish our meal and drinks before going to the theatre. By 5:30 they had given us the bill before our desserts arrived, and were clearing the table of not quite finished drinks, trying to get us out quickly.It was very busy and they didn't have enough tables for people that had come in with a booking, however if they are only going to book a table for a set time that should have been communicated at the time of booking.Tables are very close together making movement difficult and the music was quite loud, but the food was fantastic.One of the staff members was fantastic though.

Wow a great little find and right next to Sunderland Empire theatre. The food we had was tasty fresh and plentyful. Great value for money the staff are fabulous so helpful they make you feel so welcome !

My absolute favourite place while I stayed in Sunderland. Service was top notch very friendly and fun, the food was fantastic, tasty hot and came out fast. The cocktails are amazing. I would definitely recommend here for food but would book as it was always busy the two times I went. Brilliant place!.
