SQUIGGLES PLAYDEN

Visited squiggles today, nice big play centre, staff did well to say how busy this place was. over crowded would be an understatement. We only stayed for 20m as I honestly worried for myChilds safety.

Squiggles hosted our daughters birthday party for us. It was great from start to finish. Our host did all the hard work for us and our daughter had a wonderful party. It was good value for money, the food arrived when they said it would and all the kids had a fab time. Couldn’t recommend enough. The only negative feedback we had, was how hot it was.

Great place for children to explore and make new friends. It has a nice adult area and wifi connection. The food is very basic and be prepared to pay for the vending machines and rides.

Staff are nice, there's a cafe, it's clean, but l think larger soft play should be from 7 up not 4 years, as some of the bigger kids play rough, although they have got a play den for toddlers under 4 years, gives mums a break.

we come every year for a party with squiggles as it’s always been very good, good value and have also recommended to people who have also enjoyed parties here.however today was absolutely appalling. and many of the parents commented the same especially those who is previously recommended and also had parties here.the food took too long to be given out. children were sat there for a very long time to the point some children had finished and those left had cold food. we then waiting until nearly 12.45 (10-12 party) to remind the staff to bring ice cream/jelly. this also caused the children to have very little playtime when they usually get a good 90 mins.i had to also remind once the party had finished that we needed the sweet cups. and again asked about the balloons and was told these are not given anymore and yet this was on the site when booking and still is now.i went downstairs to ask if there was any sugar free drinks available ( i am 38 weeks pregnant with gestational diabetes). the attitude of the girl who served me was awful. making it clear she didn’t know, and couldn’t be bothered to find out if any were in fact sugar free.i ordered some food at this point also (12.10) which didn’t come out until the party was finished and was clearly burnt and so i had to leave it. causing my sugar to dip too low. it was not busy at squiggles today which could of made the service understandable.there was a clear ‘ can’t be bothered’ attitude today and the issue around the food and pudding and sweets was disappointing . it’s a sham as we have always raved about squiggles and as mentioned had parties here for a few years now an also recommended it to others. but i think from today we will have to be forced to to look elsewhere. please assure a manager responds to this. i messaged squiggles after the party with no reply. hopefully someone will get in touch regarding the sham of today.however looking at the replies it would appear criticism is not welcomed to improve service. hopefully i will be proven wrong. before i am questioned why i didn’t raise this at the venue, i raised it the minute u got him within the hours due to having low blood sugar from lack of food and needed to get something to eat quickly before it turned into a serious matter.

Had my sons 1st birthday party here. Staff were really friendly and helpful and all the kids enjoyed themselves. Great value for money

Usual soft play area for younger kids. Big, clean and my 4 yo loved it. However, when we went it was severely understaffed. It took nearly an hour for a plate of battered food to arrive. The safety gates for the stairs between levels were left constantly open, which is a major health and safety fail. Whilst the staff were trying their hardest, I have to say not recommended.

I've not visited for a while and it was very disappointing. The staff were awful, no customer service, nothing about them that struck me as being helpful, energetic. They have a basic menu, took over 35min for chips chicken nuggets, a couple of baguettes, when I asked about the food, a girl replied, well we have lots of food orders"
