Boots

Trekked across town for 8am, as they had stock I'd been searching for. To note - currently they open at 9am on a Saturday!!! Thankfully there are a number of other stores around while i waited until 9...The 5 stars are directed at the lovely ladies on the pharmacy counter, who were helpful and friendly, and more than made up for the confusion over opening times!!

Sixfields, Northampton. Need more staff. Monday afternoon/evening 5.15pm, nobody on the chemist counter, all customers being diverted to the pharmacy section, only 2 people serving, huge queue ( hope nobody wanted urgent advice!). Went to pay, now only self serve counters, arrived at vacant till, nobody there, but flashing require assistance. Started next till, items put through, total £17.69..... then says require assistance! Waited and waited, nobody again, took items to perfume section thought I had seen assistant..... Nope ..... Back to self serve till again, waited...... Waited.......I am sorry but by then I had had enough, items got thrown on floor and I walked out.

The store was nice and tidy. They had everything I needed. Their main tills are now updated to self checkout only, but you have a member of staff manning them.Most of their Christmas stock is out on the shelves at the back of the store.

Nice store with great selection of beauty and hair products. It's disappointing they decided to remove the regular tills and replace with self serve. I suggest they bring back the friendly staff who tell you about promotions and how much you have on your advantage card.

Walked in, had to jump out of the way as the assistant in the beauty section had a huge loud sneeze straight onto the floor (not in small if elbow or tissue!).no manned cash counters/tills for general purchases except about 4 self checkout machines with only one accepting cash

All staffed tills are gone. Three are card only and one is card and cash. I'm not doing my own service without a discount. Sorry Boots I won't be back.

Absolutely shocking waiting times. This is not a one off either. Surely a big company like BOOTS can staff itself properly. It's unbelievable. Plenty of staff selling cosmetics perfume and aftershave. NONE for prescriptions.

Very poor service. They have one queue for over the counter and prescriptions. Two people working on the medical counter. No support from other colleagues. They have no system that is employed to move through and serve customers quickly. People in front of me in queue are getting frustrated.Very bad, this is Boots we are talking about! What's happened to these old British institutions.
