We visited for the lobster and steak night and were not disappointed. Steak was cooked to perfection as was the lobster. Will definitely be going back as food was excellent, staff were very friendly and the restaurant decor was amazing! Thank you so much. Its lovely to see a local restaurant of this calibre.

We went here for 'date night' and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is fantastic and absolutely love the decor. We ordered the steak and lobster sharing platter which was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We went on a lovely warm evening and sat outside for a few drinks after our meal which topped off the night. I can't stop thinking about the food and we will be back very soon. I would recommend 100%

Very pleasant staff and helpful waitresses only young but only a few things what they could improve. 1 bigger tables as we had a party of 7 on a table for 6 not enough room personal. 2nd just a bit too long to bring drinks to the table when we placed drink orders but overall beautiful share platers food cooked perfectly to everyone would definitely go again and staff overall were 9out 10 score. Hands down the WORST dining experience I’ve had for a long time. We visited the vine for a family meal several of us travelling from around the country to enjoy some good food, service and drinks. What we received was quite the opposite. Horrendous service, even worse food and left feeling as though what we had been promised on the website was completely false adverting. The menu is NOT the same as the website, no oysters, pasta dishes or fish options aside from some dry salmon with a handful of potatoes. The steaks were tough and half of our food was incorrect or missing items. The staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else and the service reflected that. We attempted to finish of the evening with a cocktail, advised there was no menu just to pick something we never received these drinks despite the restaurant and bar being only half full.Nothing we expected from the website was available and was on offer was a laughable menu. Don’t waste your money.

One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. No staff and the menu on the website is completely different to what is at the restaurant. We looked forward to the oysters and they didn’t sell them. Looked forward to the seafood options and there was only salmon and potatoes available. Literally a salmon fillet and 3 baby potatoes cut in half. Asked for a vegetable side and it was so raw I couldn’t get a fork into them. The steaks were clearly an off cut that needed a saw to get through. The Thai mussels dish apparently came with salad, not entirely sure how that works. I usually finish a review with a positive but unfortunately there weren’t any. If you’ve never been to a restaurant before then maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you like nice food, drink and service then head somewhere else.

Shocking! Booked for Tuesday night online and received all our booking confirmation, was really looking forward to the evening as we had seen all the good reviews. When we arrived the doors were locked and no answer on the phone. We had to take our business elsewhere. And absolutely shocking to receive emails asking how or evening was and to leave a nice review.

The staff went above and beyond for my niece's 16th birthday meal. Erica and Charlie were making sure we got everything we needed and drinks topped up.Lovely food and Kim the pianist was amazing.100% recommend and we will be back!!Thank you Vine

UPDATE! We were eventually asked to come in for a complimentary meal now the new chef was up to speed. I am happy to say that things have significantly improved! I would now recommend.Worst food We have ever had. We took the mother-in-law for her 70th birthday at the end of last year. The place was freezing cold and the ceiling leaking. The food was shocking for the price we paid. We complained and were told that the head chef had left and that we would be invited back once things were “sorted”. We never received a call, not that we would go back.
