I really can’t rate The Dovetail Joint and the service we received from Pete and his lovely team highly enough. From inception to completion, they could really not have been more helpful. We are delighted with the result, and the price was much more reasonable than we dared expect, and a lot lower than the typical high street bespoke kitchen company.

The Dovetail Joint have made and fitted a number of cabinets and clever bespoke storage systems for us over the years, both at our old house and our new house that we moved into last October. Most recently they have made and fitted three fantastic sets of bespoke wardrobes, one that cleverly incorporated electrics around the dressing table to seamlessly add lighting and USB charging sockets. They also fitted a shoe storage cabinet in our hallway, with a coat rack and shelving above, which has been utterly invaluable for what would otherwise be chaotic shoe and coat storage for our family of six! Peter was attentive, adaptable and enthusiastic whenever we shared our ideas, and was also very creative with his own input with many suggestions we would not have thought of ourselves. Their work is of very high quality with a fantastic finish, we have had so many compliments from friends and family on the clever, built in design, and the company have always been very flexible and accommodating to work around our busy work and family life for measures, design visits and fitting. The Dovetail Joint provides an excellent bespoke service from start to finish and we will be returning customers in a few years time when we extend and will be in need of a new kitchen!

I can't praise the Peter and his team at the Dovetail Joint in Forest Hill enough for the fantastic work they did for us in Autumn 2019. The whole experience from start to finish was really positive. I'm so happy with the in-built alcove units, wardrobes and shelving Peter designed and fitted for us. They've made such a difference to our living space and they look top notch. From the start of the process the team were very responsive and communicative. Peter and I spent a good amount of time dicussing what I had in mind. I subjected Peter to tonnes of my Pinterest pictures and he never complained! I feel like he created excatly what I had asked both for the fitted shelving and cabinets in our dining room and living room, as well as the wardrobes and shelving that we had built for the two bedrooms. The timescales we agreed were met and the fitting happened around us (we have a 20 month old who naps in the middle of the day). I always felt listened to and never patronised. The whole approach was professional but warm, curteous but friendly, and the quality of the furntiure is superb. There is literally nothing I would change about the whole process. In fact, we are currently having Peter quote us for a kitchen. Highly recommend the Dovetail Joint as do many locally - we intially approached them due to the many positive reviews and recommendations from neighbours on Nextdoor.co.uk. So glad we did.
