This is such a good Butchers shop I travel to get my meat from it. It’s a grandfather and grandson business, and the service is excellent, friendly and so helpful. Used them for a number of years after discovering it by accident, but since then always going back. Whatever we have bought has always been top table and tasty. Great find for us.

What a fantastic discovery finding this excellent butchers! Friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. The best beef fillet and sirloin steaks I've had, superb produce (you need to try their home cured bacon!) and superb home made pies. Now a regular visit for me.

I am a frequent customer at Pollards butchers, their meats and other products are exceptional, we had a family get together over this weekend I phoned them on the Tuesday before and ordered a slow roast belly pork joint for 6 adults. It was rolled up very tightly for me and ready early Saturday morning to be collected. We had more than enough with some left over for my husband and I on the Monday. I will only buy my meat from this butcher. And have been for years.

Top quality butcher. Nothing is to much trouble, homemade piss and pasties are lovely along with a good selection of homemade sausages. All the staff are very friendly and happy to give advice if needed. Highly recommended.

Bought meat and pies for the first time from here for Xmas. All tasty and well worth the visit. Turkey & Gammon were beautiful and the pies are to die for, I love my pies so believe me when I say how tasy they were. :-) Been trying to find a good butchers in the area for a long time, now found it!
