The most awful receptionists I have ever encountered. Given they are front of house for the Surgery, they are clueless and have the most horrific manners, not to mention the rudeness and no can do" attitude. I have been at the surgery for few years and it has progressively got worse

Used to be able to phone at 8.30am to book an appointment not always same day but used to squeeze you in if your child was ill at end of surgery. Now they have switched over to online system where you complete online form and wait to be replied to in due course. Seriously this surgery has declined over the years and has now merged with another surgery as well. A long term Dr at the practice that I saw regularly has also left. After 18 years I believe I will also be seeking a new surgery.

After the 2nd horrendous experience with the receptionists at this surgery, I felt I had to write a review. This should not reflect badly on the GP's, whom have been decent, especially considering the workload !The lady I spoke with on Monday afternoon (12/06/23) was unhelpful and rude to say the least.

Rude receptionists who try hard to ignore you while you stand there. You can never get appoinments. yes we have the next months agenda but it's in red so we cannot take bookings. Just call us at end December and see if there is any free appointments." "your doctor only works two days per week so he/she is unavailable Try Dr X

I deal with this surgery on behalf of my mum who is 87. Some of the receptionists have been helpful and courteous in the past but at the moment not so!! No empathy, patience or understanding and just plain rude!! Such a shame as the doctors and nurses my mum has seen over the years have been mostly excellent.Surely the surgery must be aware of the negative feedback which is mostly regarding the reception personnel. They are the frontline representatives for the surgery and their conduct reflects strongly on the surgery overall.I am happy that my own surgery provides a much kinder and understanding reception service.

I changed to this surgery because my previous was bad. But this surgery is worse. Receptionist are rude and have no customer service skills to speak to sick people with high emotions. Don't get me started on the doctors - usless to say the least. Misdiagnosed a knee injury which ended in an operation with now a missing part of my meniscus. Stay clear of this surgery if you are thinking of joining.

Reading over Reviews l had a terrible experience with one the receptionist, a few days ago it’s to long to explain but there is no empathy whatsoever having had major surgery trying to get an appointment ask the person to get the doctor to call all she did was cut me off what an attitude this person has

Reception staff are rude abusive and have contempt for patience and all going in there . . If other staff in a business behaved like this you would assume they were unhinged . Doctors are aware and allow this to continue so are responsible ..

This review replaces one I had previously done four years ago which was very positive.I am nearly 70 years old and in my lifetime I have only ever been registered at three doctors surgeries and my previous one was for 37 years. Yet due to inefficiency and apathy, I have just left the surgery after a short time. The doctors are probably very good but let down by a support team of indifference, and an inability to admit mistakes. For the past six months, I have been on the receiving end of administrative delay and error, lack of information and an inability to say yes we were wrong. I could have continued to a formal complaint, but decided not to waste their time and mine. I have just voted with my feet.I think it’s fair to say that some of the staff have tried to be supportive but a general feeling of ‘can’t do, won’t do’ ripples through the entire team. The two stars is for the excellent nursing support, particularly Ruth who has been fantastic. Plus the prescription team who have never let us down.I wish I had believed the endless stream of negative reviews on Google, before I signed up. Believe me, although some are too personal and insulting, the message is clear.
