I had the pleasure of working at College Park School. The pupils are amazing and very gifted. The staff is very good and supportive to the pupils and to each other. It is a very nice environment where to work and learn! Great job everyone!

I have worked there for one year and have really good memories. Very supportive staff and the kids are encouraged to develop in so many different ways whilst their individual needs are always a priority.

I have worked in the school as a volunteer for 6 months assisting the PE department. The staff is very professional and the atmosphere at school is really friendly. The opportunities for trying new sports are really good!!!

The headmistress at this school is incredibly unprofessional, unsympathetic and arrogant. It's sad to see people like this working with vulnerable and needy children. I had a meet and greet appointment arranged with the headmistress, please note I am already in a permanent role but felt that I may be able to help and support this school based on 14 years of experience including management. I had to leave from Raynes park and travel to Paddington station where I walked to the school for the first time. I had informed the headmistress that I may not be able to make a time of 2.30pm due to London transport because previous experiences of tube lines are unpredictable, please note this was not an interview. I did arrive late due to signalling problems on the circle/district line, but did not expect to be told to rearrange a time because I arrived late and the school was shutting at 3.30. In 14 years I have always worked with staff who stay, plan and organise lessons until at least till 5.00 pm, and the head could have talked somewhere locally if she really cared. I briefly met the headmistress who then coldly accused me of lying for being late, I had emailed the previous day and I did ring on the way. She was very cold and dismissive, and treated me like a naughty child, and this left me in a state of shock. The one thing that I have always loved about SEN schools is that the teachers are caring and can empathise because the focus is the students rather that an individual's ego, despite what kind of day you have. I can only presume the staff does above and beyond to support these students based on this experience of the head. If you want your kids to experience a loving environment then maybe avoid this school.
