Unfortunately the last few times I have been there have been some bad experiences. The hairdressers have been rude, making comments that have caused me to reconsider ever going again. It was over a period of time and I honestly did wonder if they just had too many customers, and wanted to get rid of me.The haircuts were good but recently when I had a new hairdresser (who was really nice and polite) they made a mistake and had to change half way through. That I can overlook, but given the history of really rude comments by others, I have chosen to go to another hairdresser.I never leave reviews but this was one experience that was consistently bad for a long enough period that I felt it was something I wanted to do.Genuinely sad, because I thought the service was usually great, but being polite would not hurt.

Finally! A salon that can do a proper curly cut! A bit pricy, but would highly recommend.

Was quite nervous about getting a new hairdresser to cut my hair,but Robyn put me at ease straight away and knew what I wanted. Going to get her to colour my hair. Thanks for being so attentive.

Lovely hairdresser, she made me feel welcome and listened to me chatting, made me coffee and great magazines and my hair colour was fabulous, top class in every aspect. Salon was clean and fresh. I enjoyed my time and would return.Maureen McMahon

I have long curly hair, naturally dark ash blonde and was a abhorrent experience, I was not going to write a review, but then I thought that If I would have seen a review like this I would have never go.After a bad week I decided to do something for myself and relax and this place was in overall more expensive but it looked professional... I was wrong. A completely and unnecessary stressful experience. The girls were good and a good attitude but I went for a colour consultation to get a colour correction and I asked her to book me for everything I needed, I insisted for a full head highlights and asked to get applied a blue hair mask on my bottom part for some colour, as I already had that before for like 5 times, so just a retouch. She booked me only for a half head highlights and a toner, which I mentioned there that I have really big amount of hair and won't be enough, I was never listened. Then at the time of applying the blue colour she didn't apply the Wella hair mask I asked for, she applied some coloration mixed with conditioner and didn't check the colour with me until I saw she was going to apply and I asked. Then started a really stressful moment when I felt half of my head being washed with that, she was not even wearing gloves, and she keep saying was looking nice, I explained that's not they way I asked to get them applied, but they were already rushing as she washed my hair really quickly after that, so the colour left was not really intense. They never asked if I was happy with the result and I left with my head half wet. So when I dried at home and saw how it looked like I started to cry and left a survey, so that the manager contacted me and got me for an appointment to check. It got worse when he never made me feel guilty for the colour I had before and for my hair that would require more time, he said I only booked that and they didn't have more time on that day as my hair will require at least 4 hours (I went to the colour check appointment to book everything I needed as I know my hair is difficult), also that the blue mask was not bright because they did not decolour that part (something I also asked). At the end he said that what the girls did was right, so he could no discount that, was £115 for half head highlights with toner and quick blue wash. He offered to fix it himself but not free of charge or discounted, so anyway we got another appointment that I finally cancelled, I didn't feel like spending another £100 in a stressful and rushed environment with people I did not trust anymore. I know that they could have done what I asked for on the first place as I had it before in another hairdressers, I would happily have pay whatever. My upper part incredibly warm and light blonde and my bottom part a mixed of blue with dark blonde. It was my first hairdresser in Edinburgh and never again in this place.

My husband had his very long locks cut here for the first haircut he’s had since 2020! India was assigned to him and he had a great time. I’m so, so impressed by his cut. I’ll probably go here myself next time. She really did an incredible job on his wavy, double-crowned shoulder length hair, great talent for 16!

Robyn and India really listened to what I hoped for for my haircut and even though what I wanted wasn't possible Robyn's high level of skills achieved the look I was going for. India is in training and she was so interested in learning from Robyn and made me feel comfortable and looked after. Unfortunately, I was late for my appointment but they were flexible and understanding.
