Amazing selection and they are incredibly friendly. I always enjoy my visits. It's great to have such fantastic options for minimal waste tea, we bring some tea caddy tins and get it refilled every month or two as it lasts really well.

Loved this shop, a real treasure trove of treats for the tea and coffee enthusiast. Wonderful array of loose leaf tea and different coffees and a beautiful selection of mugs, cups, Japanese tea sets and tea and coffee making paraphernalia. Definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

This is a special experience every time I go to refill my many tea caddies. Maria always interested in what I'm doing and remembers who I am. The selection of teas is fantastic. Coffee and chocolate are available, too, as well as elegant caddies and mugs with strainers.

Fantastic independent tea shop. Loads of lovely teas and pretty tea ware. The owner David is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. He kindly helped me put together personalised wedding favours which my guests absolutely loved. The only problem you will have here is deciding which ones of the many teas here to choose from but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them and you can smell the samples to help you decide. I recommend the “I love yoga”, Golden Monkey and Cream Earl Grey. If you love all things tea then you’ll just love this adorable little shop. A great place also for tea gifts.

This company was the first to spark my enthusiasm for tea when I was 14. I have just turned 19 and can say with absolute confidence that there is no other tea company (and trust me, I've tried many) that comes even close to this one. Their Maple Toffee tea will always be a permanent favourite and to prove it we've even named our dog after it (her name is Maple Toffee). I've come to love so many more teas from this company, so if you're looking for exotic and exciting teas to try, this is the answer.

Being a tea enthusiast, I had to explore this gem in the heart of this historic town. As soon as you walk in, the aromas of all the different teas hit you as if someone sprayed a heady perfume. I was shown around by the loveliest and most enthusiastic lady. The selection is incredible, with a wider variety of blends, leaves and flavours than say, Whittard.I walked out with Orange Blossom Oolong and Pistachio Marzipan Black, and cannot wait to try them.

Amazing customer service!I placed my first order for some teas, chocolate and some tea caddies. There was a huge range of products but the descriptions on line were really helpful and spot on. I expected the order via post and was surprised and delighted by my order being hand delivered to my door with a lovely little note. If you’re a tea totaller or a total tea nut you have to try Golden Monkey Tea Company.I entered and heard the continuous chime of the entrance bell. I heard the vague rustle of staff in the darkness of the shop recesses. A staff member appeared and asked if I needed assistance. I provided my requirements and there began my unforgettable tea tasting journey.
