Top Class Hair

Great experience getting my daughter's hair cut and restyled here today. Have come to these ladies for myself over the years and left very happy every time. Today was no different and my daughter is very happy with her new 'do'!

I tried this salon as the girl posted a comment on my hair recommendation post on social media. When I got there, she was very sweet and informative however my experience quickly changed. From the time she began washing my hair, I knew I was I trouble. There wasn't a proper hairwash basin, and I could literally feel that it wasn't being washed or rinsed out properly. She apologised for the basin and even said how uncomfortableit was for her to wash my hair in this basin or whatever it is. She cut my hair and then began to blow-dry. I tried to explain very calmly that in order to dry curly hair straight she had to make sure the roots were straight. I literally had to teach her and explain how she could do the roots because it was a disaster. She blow dried the hair, with the roots curly and the rest straight. She said it was because she had tennis elbow and couldn't twist her hand or use strength.I eventually gave up and let her just do whatever she was doing. When the blow dry was done, I was shocked. It was like I was out a tumble dryer. I asked her of she could make it a little straight and sleeker. She tried but could not. Just not qualified or experienced enough I would think. She then neatened and trimmed my hair while it was dry but off course, as you can imagine, it is crooked indeed. Why? The roots were not blow dried straight therefore she couldn't get an accurate straight cut. An absolute waste of money. I'm so disappointed. I would love a full refund so I can go to someone who can correct this mess now. My hair felt so clammy when I got home that I had to re-wash it and blow dry it myself. Once I straightened it again, I see that the hair cut is also a total disaster

I last went to Top Class Barbers before the women’s salon was open and the stylist did a great job! I asked for the same service this time at the salon and the stylist took out all my lovely layers and had me stand up because the chairs didn’t have pedals to change the height. I understand £27 is a fair compensation for the labour, but I spent 5 minutes having someone trim my hair and make passive aggressive comments.

Manager booked my wife's long haircut for 15 minutes before closing time...The hairdresser rushed the cut to finish on time".My wife came home with a haircut that was done by someone in training...Management should know better when it comes to bookings and the hairdresser should understand her job more
