St Mary's Church

A beautiful example of an Anglican church, in the heart of my home town, Andover. Born and bred in this quaint market town, St Mary's Church is known throughout the county, and is loved by many. My mother is also buried in its cemetery since 1983.

Open to light candles for our Queen and sign remembrance book. Or just a peaceful few moments of reflection. Everyone was very friendly. Beautiful church

Attended friend/work colleague's funeral.Lovely service in a beautiful church.

Attended a wedding in the church.Long flight of steps leading up to church but were later told its possible to approach from the side with no steps.Absolutely beautiful church with stained glass windows etc. Revd Jess took a lovely service. The bells sounded great after the wedding too.Only slight issue was that the church was cold - the weather had turned overnight!

St Mary's is a beautiful church on top of Andover town in Hampshire. It is a 19th century Victorian Gothic buildingfor worshipping, excellent for weddings. Or you can hire halls for parties, activities or business events. Come and meet very friendly relaxed community of ordinary people.The Harris Hall accommodates up to 200 guests. It comprises of a large main hall, well equipped kitchen, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.The St Mary's Church Centre- excellent facilities with carpeted main room which accommodates up to 40 guests. Also comprises of a well equipped kitchen, toilets and special facilities for disabled guests.

Very spacious!Architecture is stunning, as per usual. Tidy, neat and very welcoming.Great place for large gatherings, generally up to date in terms of amenities and decor (for a church lol)

Great church,full history in and around .Coffee morning very friendly and informative. Really made you feel welcome.

I've been there several times now. Always like to bring visitors to this church as it has such amazing history to tell. Very peaceful place.
