I ordered a savaloy and chips from here today. Usually the chips are not bad , the portion I had today tasted a bit stale , but the worst offender was the savaloy . Uncooked and raw, vile taste . I ended chucking the lot away as it put me right off . Last time I go there again .

It's fish, chips, pies, mushy peas, fried chicken, and sausages all at reasonable prices. The service is fine, and the food is exactly what I want from a chippy.

I'm not very happy about this place. Usually, I'll buy chips at lunchtime, which are generally a standard 6. However, last night (friday) I got fish and chips. They do not accept cards. It was the nastiest cod I've tasted. Rock hard batter, slimey fish. The chips were like bullets. Total cardboard. Disgusting. The service was below par. I should have taken it back, but I had already got home. The owner is quite arrogant tbh. Palace needs a decent fish and chip shop. This is not the one.

Ordered cod and chips. The fish was fresher fried. The chips were so delicious. Well worth the wait. Customer service is meh but as long as the food is great then I can’t complain. 5 stars for the delicious food
