Bird in Hand
Staff are always friendly, even when they are really busy it doesn't take long to get drinks. It's really improved since it was taken over, the food is great and they have so much on through the week and weekends. They also host lots of wonderful events for the children such as breakfast with santa, breakfast with the Easter bunny and lots more. The staff are all super friendly, just a lovely pub

This pub is a little gem hidden away in an old mining village village. The locals are friendly, the beer is great and a great menu on offer. From the road it looks nice but venture to beer garden for a view that’s absolutely stunning.

I had lamb shank and just fell of bone presentation of my meal was lovely and staff and service amazing they were very busy but the meal served was quick beautiful and hot thanks

Lovely food not a long wait at all. Steak was cooked toonperfection and service with a smile. Beer is always refreshing

Looked better on the website than it was but the food was OK and reasonably priced. Not many beers on offer, more of a lager pub with sticky floors. Staff didn't seem to know what they had or what they were doing, may have been new!
