Really impressed with St James VG. As a tourist with a lame dog, their service was super efficient. Within an hour of making the call we were registered ( lovely reception staff), seen and medicated. Vet was super helpful and lovely too. Great service. Thank you.

St james vets to me are very professional been going to this vets since 1983 when dave Roberts and Mr Jones where in the uplands surgery.

Fantastic vets! Thank you so much for seeing us on such short notice.On holiday and the dog takes poorly. Appointment for the following morning, I can complain at all. Excellent idea with the pagers, Mabel didn't have the chance to work herself into a state, walked straight into the vet to been seen.Marvellous idea. Vet actually managed to hear her heart, as she wasn't stressed out! No panting or holding her breath, her go to speciality, just to keep the vets on their toes.Again thank you so much for seeing her and thank you for putting my concerns to rest.100% would recommend to anyone, tourist or local!Archie and Mabel send their thanks.

Very impressed with my experience of St James so far. After having some serious concerns regarding the treatment put in place for my guinea pig from a different vet I transferred to St James. The man who saw her for her appointment was very thorough in her care and explained all treatment options available, after opting for surgery, she was in pretty much straight away and was awake and recovering only a few hours later. The treatment she received was exceptional, and the lady who performed the operation and discussed after-care was amazing. I would highly recommend.

Had an emergency with our dog Banjo, late evening. One call and they were ready and waiting when we arrived. Very professional, kind and caring.

Great vets practice. The vet I see is Lisa Jones who is wonderful - really listens, spends time checking everything, explains things well and is extremely thorough.

Absolutely brilliant!! We were on holiday here our dog was poorly, great reception staff and Elli the vet! They couldn't do enough to help us, our dog is 14 so it was a bit hit and miss xx

We recently had to bring our cat to St James Parkway Vet Hospital due to respiratory distress. Marie Claire was very patient and helpful in explaining the possible causes of his illness, and helped us to plan for our his admission and investigations. After admission under the care of Nicole and the nursing team we were kept informed and involved throughout, the team were so considerate. He was given oxygen by mask and fed intravenously. It was decided to place a chest drain under GA and this allowed a lot of water to be drained from his lungs. However his breathing got worse until he wasn’t breathing on his own. It wasn’t easy but all things considered we made the decision to let him go in peace while still under the general anaesthetic. The next day we met with Leanne the senior nurse who helped us to see Rico for the last time and to arrange for his cremation. She was so kind, patient and respectful. We want to thank all the staff at Parkway for helping us achieve the best care for Rico and us after he passed away peacefully.

Fab service, very friendly team, made us very welcome and best of all took very good care of my kitten. Well recommended.
