Shocking, just because I exchange I can’t seem to get any repairs done. I’ve lived here now over 3yrs and every time I ring up for a repair they say no because you exchange . Ok then why am I paying £400pcm.These repairs that need doing where no there when I moved in . No cold running water on the bath tap , toilet flushing handle hanging off. Bottom of bath the shelf is rotten water going down back, course in the smell of damp every time the bath is use. Grouting all mouldy. Inspector say yes we will do that for you , then didnt here bother for 5mth . So complain and get told no sorry you exchange .

Have been a South Yorkshire housing tenant for a year now and really can't fault them. Always quick to respond with and repairs etc

speaking from experience with the Sheffield city council,moving to a house with south Yorkshire housing,i can say that it was a very good decision,any jobs that need doing are very fastand aorted within a week or so,no wait time gwtting in touch with them,overall i think they are very good

They were all lovely and friendly and they are being helpful aswell getting me back into work

This place has a really poor structure of employees who cover up problems instead of solving them. They are inconsiderate staff from employees to the CEO of the company. If you have any issues with the company they will lie to your face. I have had an employee who is also living in a syha property stalk and verbally abuse me take photos of my grandson in the past videod me and my property set up a dash cam pointing to my property breaching data protection and intimidating a disabled person . Staff do not resolve issues they help encourage antisocial behaviour.

My 87 year old mother in law has been left with no heating or hot water for 5 days now and still no end to the problem in sight. All that you get from SYHA is that their contractor is short staffed , but they will prioritise her. No communication at all.When we contacted contractor directly they said that the problem had not been reported to them for 2 daysThey say that that they MAY get round to her in a few days.So do SYHA think that an 87 year old woman living alone without heating for nearly a week is acceptable ?

Extremely friendly staff and if you have a problem they are very quick to help resolve

Small converted bedsits into 1 bedroom flats, bathroom the size of a cupboard any smaller it would be, the bathroom door nearly touches the Hallway wall and the Flat Door in a kissing gate style way.Neat team gardeners destroy nearly everything, SYHA have no respect for surrounding wildlife and environment no environmental impact assessment done they just spray on plants whilst killing the weeds, pest contol contractors don't care if they kill cats, owls foxes and other wildlife that are predators of rats.No heating and hot water charge on the rent increase letter for communal boilers.Gone down hill where I live service charge wasted, roofs, gutters and drains not maintained.Trees surrounded by railings covered in weeds and litter, no maintenance gates, neglected Buildings.Destroyed Community Group, including Laundry, and Shop in 2017.SYHA nice people but with bad ideas.

I rent a beautiful house from SYHA after doing a mutual exchange from a council house. When ever i have contacted SYHA, they have been friendly and helpful . The house is well maintained and SYHA have done the 2 repairs i have had with no issues. So far I highly recommend
